Shields is promoting her new documentary series focused on her life titled “Pretty Baby: Brooke Shields.” The series premiered on Hulu on Monday after debuting at Sundance Film Festival in January. According to Hulu, the series showcases Shields’ life “as she transforms from a sexualized young girl to a woman discovering her power.”
She appeared on The Kelly Clarkson Show the other day and said, “It’s tough, but you can get through these things, and ask for help.” Brooke opened up about growing up in the limelight, her complicated relationship with her mother, and the objectification of young women in the entertainment industry in her new Hulu documentary “Pretty Baby.” Brooke shared how she moved forward by asking for help, and Kelly praised her for her openness about her struggles with postpartum depression. Brooke also dishes on adjusting to life with her daughter going off to college.
