Today on “SHERRI,” Daytime Emmy Award-winning talk show host, comedian, actor and best-selling author SHERRI SHEPHERD spoke to Shaunie and Keion Henderson in their VERY FIRST daytime interview. The couple discussed their proposal and pastor Keion Henderson explained why he waited to propose on November 11. Keion said, “we met and she had a tattoo on her wrist. 11:11. I had the same tattoo on my back. So, she kept talking about when are you going to ask me to marry you. She didn’t know I was waiting for November 11. So, I was waiting until November 11 and that was at 11:11 on the 11th. So, this entire day, she had an attitude the whole day. Because I was sneaking around fixing stuff up … she kept saying “where are you going?”… and I’m setting this up. So, she was bothering me that day. The newlyweds also spoke about how they did NOT kiss on their first date. Keion said, “So, we sat in the hotel lobby for six hours. The whole time she’s telling me stuff like I’m not going upstairs with you. I’m not going to your room … and I’m thinking I didn’t even ask you to.” He laughed and went on, “so it’s time to leave after six hours. I walk her out to her car. And now I got all of this don’t do, I ain’t doing stuff in my head. So, I just leaned over and gave her a hug.”
