Hello lovelies, yesterday afternoon I was invited out to a VIP Private British High Tea/Media Day at a place called, The Ginger Room! It’s a tea house located in downtown Alpharetta in the historic Skelton-Teasley House. If you know me, I am such a tea enthusiast and was delighted to get all dolled-up and attend!
Once I arrived I loved the tea house, the decor and the aroma of the tea brewing! Due to COVID safety measures, all the guests were seated at their own tables with a 3-tiered stand of finger sandwiches, fresh scones with housemade clotted crème, petit fours, and Dr. Karl Walbrook’s famous British Bakewell tart (he is from London) and more!
We were able to pick from over 30 ginger tea blends served in antique tea cups. Afterwards we enjoyed a tour of the tea house including the famous Walbrook Room, gift bags and Ginger Yums for our ride home (signature ginger juice created by Dr. Karl Walbrook and Angela Avery, founders). If I had to recommend one of my favorite teas that I got to enjoy, it would be the Happy Tea, so good. It was such a lovely time and I will be back for sure! Enjoy the snaps that I took and try to make it out with your girlfriends, such a pretty place to visit!
Spilling The Tea with Angela, she was so much fun!
