I was so sad to hear the news that Actress Cicely Tyson passed away earlier today. I remember as a young girl watching her in movies and on my tv screen. I always thought she was the most stylish actress alive back then and she was the same color as me! It was wonderful for me to see her in magazines and part of my childhood. Fast forward to last year at Tyler Perry’s Grand Opening and I see her coming down the carpet wearing a very pretty red dress with feather boa! I said, no way is that really Cicely Tyson and yes it was! Everyone was calling her name and wanted photos of her!
She was very petite in stature but her smile was infectious and she just smiled for the cameras, what grace and style over the years and my heart aches because so much has gone on last year and going into this year, pray for EVERYONE and stay safe! The Queen will be truly missed and so many people are sending their condolences and showing photos that they took with her over the years! What a beauty and she will be forever embedded in my brain.
