Hey guys, today I ventured off to check out the 2020 Southeastern Designer Showhouse & Gardens located in Buckhead! It felt really good to get out and have some sense of normalcy. On the 11,000 square foot property, they handled each guest with loving care in a safe and hospitable experience. The house is open to the public for tours from June 4-28 2020 if you’re interested in seeing this mansion for yourself.
I absolutely loved the shophouse that is on the market currently for around $9 million dollars. My favorite space was the outdoor pool area and master bathroom and custom closets, so lovely. The details were spectacular and they worked with over 15 of the Southeast’s top interior designers who transformed the residence. Check out more inside….

It is our great pleasure to announce the opening of the 2020 Southeastern Designer Showhouse at Villa Flora. Located on 6 private, wooded acres in Buckhead, this property is one of the most sought-after in Buckhead, and was originally designed for the late Charlie Ackerman, a prominent real estate and security industry figure described as “an iconic Atlanta civic leader.”
Renovated in 2020 by developer Benecki Homes, SOURCE, Linda MacArthur Architect, Cole Construction and LandPlus, this 11,000-square-foot residence is as close to Santa Barbara as you can get without moving, thanks to a world-class kitchen, plaster walls, one-of-a-kind finishes and a generous master suite with his-and-hers closets and a master bath with vaulted ceiling. The private grounds include a new outdoor pool with spa, firepit and grill porch; a flat, turfed rear courtyard; an indoor lap pool; lighted tennis court; and trails punctuated by original sculpture.
More than 15 of the Southeast’s top interior designers have transformed the interiors of this inspiring, light-filled residence.
Don’t miss this touring this Springtime tradition organized by Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles magazine.
