Dare 2 Aspire held their 9th Annual Women Conference on Sunday, June 15th at Sheraton Galleria – Cumberland Mall. I was one of the honorees that received the “leading business woman/key influencer” award. I was so excited and gave a very moving testimony about attending this conference in 2014 and returning 5 yrs later, 60lbs lighter lol. I explained that I went through a total mental and physical transformation and that it was a long road.
At the event they told me that I have made such an impact in the entertainment industry which has allowed others to be inspired by my efforts. With that being said, I accepted the award along with the other three honorees which were, Sarah-Elizabeth Reed(Community Leader), India Monae(Investor) and Aventer Gray(Pastor).
