Its been a very long time since I reviewed a black vehicle but something made me go back and look in my archives. I really don’t think I have ever had the chance to test-drive a black car period! I get the shade red most of the time which must be a very popular color for car reviewers but this was something different for sure! I got a chance to test drive the all new Mitsubishi Outlander for a week.
Here in Atlanta it has been raining for days on end, so I didn’t really get to take it for spin for a few days because of all the downpours argh! Here in Atlanta, its hard to go anywhere with the rain because you just sit in traffic because people can’t seem to drive in it and there is LOTS of accidents. For a couple of days it did clear up and I ran outside to take the car for a spin. I was able to get a few fun photos with the Outlander finally! I will say this, when I did have to run errands in the rain, it handled extremely well!
The Outlander is a snazzy looking sport utility vehicle and sits low to the ground which I thought was a bit strange because it is a SUV. It felt like I was driving a regular size sedan just more beefed up. The car had all the bells and whistles, rear view camera, a great sound system, loved the butter pecan color of the interior and it was roomy enough for my whole family. My son loved listening to the sirius radio and reclining back. We took the car to the movies, the grocery store (where we could fit lots of groceries in the rear trunk) and around town. I felt safe, secure and cool looking as I picked up my son from school daily! I think the car is reasonably priced for someone who is starting their own family or for a college bound teenager. Starts at $22,995. To find out more info click here. xoxo
