Ceelo Green's 40th Birthday Bash

Grammy Award winning artist Ceelo Green celebrated his 40th Birthday in grand style last night at a private estate in Buckhead. It was a star-studded affair where lots of industry people came out to celebrate with him. I was invited by Ceelo’s ex-wife and reality star Christina Johnson. When we arrived, we walked through this mega mansion and were escorted outback…oh my! I do not like outdoor events because of my allergies and the bugs. It had been raining the night before too, so imagine all the ladies heels sinking in the grass and mud lawd!

It was also pretty hot & humid lol. There goes my hair, white dress and heels that was all ruined BUT it was all good though because it was for a joyous occasion. They also raised a lot of money for Ceelo’s Green House Foundation. Celebrity sightings at the party was rapper Andre 3000, Big Boi, Apollonia, and a host of others with performances by Eric Benet, Cameo and a surprise act from Ceelo’s son Kingston who came on stage and played guitar with Cameo! Ceelo was very surprised and cheered his only son on, it was a very touching moment and he had no idea that he was going to do that. They jammed to the hit song Word Up. Cameo also played a lot of their smash hits. They did an awesome job and had everyone up on their feet dancing. I felt like I was at a Funk Festival lol.
