Fresh from New York City with all that coldness, I am glad to be back in Atlanta where its just a few degrees warmer lol. I would like to say that I had an extremely wonderful time during New York Fashion Week. Although I did not attend a lot of parties, I was invited out to a lot more shows this time around which was fine by me!
I gave up after day 3 with trying to dress nice because it was just too frigid outdoors to try and look cute! Plus all I packed was one pair of slacks and the rest of my outfits were skirts and dresses, it just didn’t work this time around. I tried my best to layer my clothing but I became frustrated and even hotter indoors then when I stepped outside, I was freezing my butt off and it ultimately just got on my nerves! So I opted out for warmth instead of cuteness lol. The shows that I attended were amazing and mostly all of them had breathtaking fashions that I would wear in a heartbeat! I met legendary designers like Carmen Marc Valvo to Carolina Herrera then some models I ran into backstage were American Next Top Model Winnie Harlow to supermodel Tyson Beckford, it was super cool!
This season I will admit that they showed lots of diversity on the runway and I was jumping up and down with joy when I saw this! It felt great to see more representation of my race hit the catwalk. In the beauty department, I learned different techniques & tips from lead makeup artists and sexy hairdos for Fall. One of my favorite things to see was all the nail art and hues used to match the collections and what is going to be the “it shades” to wear first!
My favorite fashion show that I got to see was Carolina Herrera Fall 2015 Collection and the most entertaining to watch was Dennis Basso. The rumors around the tents was that New York Fashion Week will no longer be at Lincoln Park, so we will have to stay tuned to see whats in store for next season. I’m sure it will be lots of new and refreshing things to come. Where they will go? Time will tell. I really enjoy fashion, I wish I could own and wear so many things I saw up close and personal but I always say that I am blessed for all the opportunities and thanks to Mercedes Benz Fashion Week for credentialing me each season. This September, I do plan on heading to Milan for Paris Fashion Week to check out the Spring 2016 fashions and if I do actually make it across the pond, you know I will have lots to share with you guys my loyal readers! I would like to thank the designers for sending me all the hot fashions to wear and model in and to Anya Caliendo for the custom millinery couture hat, I was in complete awh! Till next time! xoxo

Yes thanks it was freezing!
Wow, you went to the Carolina Herrera show, I long to wear her clothes, I always say if I become rich she will definitely be one of my frequent purchases.
