I was on the phone the other day chatting to a friend about how we do it all. Both of us being wives, moms and having careers. I do try to figure out how I am doing it all too! It’s tough, I will surely say that but one thing that I have learned over the years and that I have been really good at, is time management. One more thing, the older your kids get, it will eventually become easier lol. My husband has always been a great supporter of my dreams, of what I wanted to accomplish and he also knows my long term goals. With lots of prayer, I have been moving forward with all these things that I want to do and I think that I have really become a go-getter! When I first started Talking With Tami with just $100 back in 2005, I wanted to inspire, motivate and show women that if I can do it, you can too! I set out to do just that and NEVER looked back!
My brand has grown so much now and I really appreciate all the obstacles I have faced good or bad. It taught me to be more diligent, consistent and have tough skin. I watched this very inspiring video by Nissan of African American women who are on the move, who are also trendsetters, role models and I must include, stylish & fabulous while doing it all! If you sit down and map out what YOU want to achieve, draw up a business plan and know exactly what goals and accomplishments you want to set out to do, you too my friends can have it all!
