‘I don’t think it’s fair that only certain sizes are available to women and I won’t sell my clothing in a store that will separate larger sizes into the “big and tall” section. I’m trying to take that kind of shame and humiliation out of the shopping experience.’
Her dating skills have improved since then, but if there’s one other thing she’s still too young for, it’s settling down. She broke off her engagement to vegan chef Matthew Mosshart — brother of The Kills’ Alison — earlier this year and has recently stepped out with model Ricki Hall. But she says, ‘I don’t want to be anyone’s missus. I need someone who’s quick-witted and can keep me on my toes and no one’s quite there yet. I tried to date an older man, but when he went in to give me a kiss on the cheek I saw the facelift scars behind his ear!’
The E! channel recently confirmed that Fashion Police would return to our screens in January, but Rivers leaves big shoes — with sharp heels — to fill. As a boss, Osbourne says, she was inspirational: ‘She got to work at four in the morning. I never met a harder-working woman in my life. Her approach was, “If I can’t get up every day and do a 90-minute show before I go to bed, I don’t want to live any more.” She also taught me that you can make a joke about anything, you can laugh through everything — and if you can’t, then there’s no point in living.’
