On September 3rd, to celebrate New York Fashion Week, BET held a cocktail reception, fashion show and post party that was pretty cool to attend. I arrived a bit late because of other shows, so I missed the actual runway portion but was still able to stop by to show my support. Funny thing, my good friend since grade-school Jacinta Ligon was one of the designers who showed her collection! We were two peas in a pod and always stayed in touch with each other over the years. She recently moved to NYC to pursue her dreams of fashion and she is still good as ever! She has always loved avant-garde designs and everyone at the event raved about her work!
