I have a great story to tell you guys today! I hope that you find it very inspirational. A few weeks ago one of my family members was in need. They had just lost there job but fortunately they started a new job this week, which was good thing. Unfortunately the rent was due and they were a bit short with cash.
I was chatting with this family member who I am very close to and I congratulated them on getting a new job which was more of what they really wanted to do anyway. We hung up and I started to think about all the bills that I have that needed to be paid, student loans, my kids stuff going on etc. I called my hubby and said, hey, can you take such and such a few dollars to help them out on their rent. It wasn’t much but it was something. My hubby never questioned me because he knows if I give someone money, its for a good reason. He immediately took the money over and they called me to thank me. They were so excited that they were not going to be late paying the rent.
I’m not rich by no means and I’m still trying to save up to purchase me a new vehicle myself lol. I’ve been praying for a new car for a long time but I’m patient. I have so many things around here that I could pay off and buy but if I have it to give to someone in need, I will. I gave to this person because I love them and I could tell that they were not just trying to use me.
So yesterday afternoon I went to check my mailbox and I had an envelope and a small package inside. One was a thank you notecard and the other package was a pearl bracelet inside that read “Believe”. I didn’t put the two things together but when I opened the notecard it was a Visa gift card inside from a brand that I worked with. They loved my blog post and wanted to say thank you. I looked at the amount of money and said wow!
Then I looked at the inspirational bracelet that was given to me that said, “Believe”. Then I started to think about how I gave unconditionally and I got it back double! So guys the moral of the story is that if you have it to give, help someone else in need and it will all work out for the best! God blessed me because I helped someone else, it may have been a test, I’m not sure but always remember that…
