Today was the Pink Affair with Sam’s Club in Buford,Ga. It turned out to be a nice day although chilly. Sams had tables set up for all the vendors that came out to support breast cancer awareness.Early that day people walked for www.stridesatlanta.org then some came out to support our vendors by purchasing cupcakes,ribbons,while the proceeds went to the cancer foundation.
Alot of customers supported our cause and made donations,purchased breast cancer cupcakes and making purchases. I was able to meet alot of the shoppers and take pics with them and their kids. I’m glad I was able to give up a couple of hours of my time to let people know about what we were doing. Thanks to Polished Affairs,Miss Black Ga, Flagstar Bank and more for coming out! It was quite Pinky to say the least lol.
I felt warm and cozzy inside, knowing I did a great deed. One customer came up to me and said she as a 10 year survivor, she shared her story with us,which was very moving.
Sam’s Club raised $2,000.00 and selling the cupcakes they made $100.00. Thanks to all who came out to support and to Sam’s Club for inviting me out to Host.
