Young Entreprenuer Empowerment Group

Over the weekend I got a chance to go listen to some great young entertainers. Y.E.E.C.(Young Entreprenuers Empowerment Group) founded by Aaron Reid,Jason Johnson and James Smith collaborated to start this much needed organization. What they have done is gathered Artists,models,dj’s,actors,producers,musicians,fashion designers and more under one umbrella to help them with management. What a great thing to see with our youth of today! These fellows are on their way to greatness and you know that Im all for young people starting great businesses.

You may remember Aaron Reid from MTV’s sweet sixteen with his elaborate birthday party. His parents are well known in the music business, his mom is singer and now pastor Pebbles, and dad L.A.Reid. So Aaron is no stranger to the music industry. The other two guys James and Jason came from different positions in the music industry as well.

After the red carpet we got to hear some of their artist perform like cutie pie singer Unique who is signed with Def Jam,Aaron Reid’s best friend and rapper Rich Hill(Tommy Hilfiger’s son) who performed O’s,Overdose a rap/punk group out of Los Angeles and sexy Ray Lavender who is signed with Konvict music,he sang Tipsy,he has a great stage presence. Other groups were rapper Big Shine and rap group Supernova.

I really enjoyed seeing the groups and hearing the music. Lots of Celebs came out like DJ Cannon who lets me use alot of my beats for the tv show,Gerald Levert’s daughter Carlysia, Tameka Foster who declined a pic with me lol,JoJo producer,reality star from Run’s House,comedian Griffy 2k,LeToya Luckett,Neffy(Keyshia Cole show),Dallas Austin and his artist,Chaka from DTP and many more. I wish the young entreprenuers alot of luck with their new business venture. Thanks to The Garner Circle for the invite.
