Wow,What a Partee!

ah 300x225 Wow,What a Partee!

Last night I have to tell yah! Whoo Weee! I had a ball. It was the Atlanta Housewives premier and Red Carpet!I got to hang with some true divas and if you didnt come correct, you should have stayed home! Ha! I got a chance to meet and talk with all of the cast from the Atlanta Housewives. And let me tell yah, they are all very nice and pleasant, like I figured. The one diva that really stood out to me was Sheree Whitfield. I really like her, but she is portrayed in the show like she will cut your head off. Naw, Im not buying it. We hit it off and she told me she wants me at her next shing ding! Cant wait to go! I met Deshawn Snow too guys and I love her as well. She was everything I thought she would be and more! I talked to Mr.Snow,Mr. Hartwell, and Nene’s hubby and they were all just kinda sittin back taking it all in. The husbands took pics and smiled as their wives shined all night! Kim Zolciak was cool as heck and could be anyones home girl! I looooved her cute lil outfit. She didnt mind striking a pose for me. I think she told me it was Dolce Gabana. I met Kim’s two cute lil daughters too, and her oldest daughter wore a Betsey Johnson dress with matching purple shoes. I spotted the Betsey Johnson attire right away and bee lined right over to her to tell her that I looved her outfit! Ha!

ah1 300x225 Wow,What a Partee!

Ms.Sheree’s dress was the bomb! It was designed by Valentino (dont kill me if Im wrong but it was extremely loud in there),When Sheree hit the red carpet, everyone gasped like,” Wow,Omg that dress is the business”!! It was to die for! And the red shoes were fierce too! Lisa Hartwell looked classy in her black evening gown and her hair was fabulous, her makeup was all sparkly, she looked like a barbie doll! I love Lisa, she reminds me of a playmate I had as a youngster, just cute and you always wanted them around. My girl NeNe Leakes looked great too, she wore a purple dress that was fitted. She has a great body, you go girl! She told me she was the first one to be cast. With her bold and bubbly personality, I know they are glad they made that decision, she brings it on screen!

ah3 225x300 Wow,What a Partee!

We watched the premiere and was served champagne and laughed at some of the show, then we partied some more. I had a great time and made some good connects. I cant wait to talk to the girls one on one about their non profits, and other business ventures they have. I love women entreprenuers,do your thing! Well I’m going to retire my pumps for now, till the next big thing! I will have more pics later on, waiting for my photographer to download and send. Take care, im going back to bed! Ha!

ah2 300x225 Wow,What a Partee!

Thanks to April Love(Ask April Love) and Melanie Mitchell for the private invite and to Ms. Kammy.

Ok, so this is drama, and I get that. In fact, with the housewives of NYC, I was cracking up at those silly women, and the fact that the jewish girl with the black hair was using a lot of our expressions and impressing the other wives – and she did it so well to. I guess as a black woman, I am just not interested in laughing at ghetto run amuck. It is just not funny. Now that Whitney and Bobby show? It was embarrassing, but hilarious!!!!!!!

  2. talkingwithtami says:

I just dont understand why “Black women” have to be classified as ghetto. Hmm?

  3. Della says:

I HAD THE BEST TIME! IT WAS SO MUCH FUN. THANKS TAM! LUV YA.

  4. Renee says:

I concur Tami…if we see an african american woman that does not act how we feel she should act, the first thing we do is insult them by say they are ghetto. I’ve seen ghetto and these women are not in my opinion…

  5. talkingwithtami says:

    Thank u Thank u!

  6. T says:

    Tami,

Not all “Black Women” are classified as ghetto and you know this. I have watched all three shows, OC, NY and last night ATL. For the most part, they all seem to have put on airs with the exception of Worker Bee, I think her name is Lisa. Not to say these women aren’t well off, that’s wonderful and nothings wrong with wanting and acheiving wealth.

However, most of them acheived it through marriage and so did some of the women on NY, my problem with Sheree and Nene is that they were attempting to put each other down in one form or another as if one is better than the other.

For example, when you talk about someone behind thier back and call them to personally extend an invite, then have your assistant remove her from the list, but TRY to act as if it was an oversight, that’s foul. If you are paying attention and listening you hear Sheree during the list conversation with her assistant, you can pick up on her under handed, sly words instructing her assistant as to what she wanted to occur. “Those action are the actions of someone being GHETTO” We have all seen it at one time or another or had a few who carried it out themselves. I think she wanted to embarrass Nene trying to make her feel or know she was “Queen Bee”. Now Nene is loud and nothing is wrong with attention or wanting it or dressing for it but being loud in order to be seen is and has always been equated to being Ghetto.

All I will say about the lady hiring the Governess instead of running her own house! Oh LORD!!! There are corporate women with kids and hubands were probally irritated last night. Who most likly have a staff that helps her also, but she is running her household without a go between I can imagine her wondering what in the world?!!! I hope her hubby and her are well invested finacially for the future with 3 boys they have to pay to send to school because nothing is secure in the market. Sheeh, the countess on NYC version didnt have governess, she had issues to though. OMG!

Now, the lady with Big poppa, She seems nice and has goals but reminds me of what I would think a mistress would be like.

Worker bee Lisa, you do you! She seems to have had her own before her husband and continues to want her own! That’s someone to watch and be proud to see as a sucessful Black woman.

By the way Tami, I wouldnt think that you would be or would want to say anything negative about the show. Since its already known how small ATL is, stepping on the wrong shoes could end you career quickly. So how real are you? I dont buy it at all, you know that when you interview anyone, that they are going to put on their best face and not all true in what they say, so why would Sheree be or do anything else. Be true to life!! People are complex but they made the choice to do the show and judgments will come, because it comes to the everyday person as well. We judged the OC, NYC and ATL is no different.

  7. T says:

Last thing. There are Whites, Latino’s and Asians in the ghetto as well. So saying someone is ghetto is not to a specific skin color! Its a persons actions that place them in that category.

  8. talkingwithtami says:

Thanks for your comment, and I do appreciate it. I dont necessarily think “my career” would be over if I had something mean to say about any celeb lmao.Ive been doing this for awhile, Im cool! I dont give a damn! If you piss me off or rub me the wrong way, hey no telling what I would say.I just never had to go there! Im not pressed about that lil stuff.

Im as real as they come sweetie. I just believe in putting out good energy and thinking and being positive and uplifting women and people in general.I just wish people wouldnt take the show so seriously lol. It’s pure entertainment and if more people looked at tv that way, maybe they wouldnt be so critical, case closed!

  9. haireality says:

    Hi
read my take on the show at absurdtosublime.blogspot.com

  10. Oh wow girl! Overall, fun, fun, fun…..

  11. alesica says:

I enjoyed the show just like I liked all the other ones! Soon they will have a housewives show for every state lol. They should start advertising that these shows are for entertainment purposes only in small print when it first comes on for those of us who don’t get that most things on t.v. aren’t real lol.

  12. CharmMaven says:

To Wendy – If you’re not interested in laughing at ghetto run “amok” DON’T WATCH! If it’s not funny, again DON’T WATCH!

To T – The show is called “Real Housewives….” So what if a woman’s success/wealth is achieved through marriage. A husband is the provider for his family. Period. If he’s wealthy even better. I am a true fan of the series. I’ve watched all 3 seasons of Orange County and I watched New York City. I am now watching Atlanta and am very pleased that I can watch women with whom I can relate and see some of me.
Bottom line is The Real Housewives series is real life honey and you my dear and all the others out there like you are H-A-T-E-R-S.
What you need to do is get a life, a husband or maybe even a sugar daddy!

  13. talkingwithtami says:

    Amen to that lol!

  14. RealTalk says:

They are trying toooo hard so did the RHW of NYC (with the exception of Bethany she was hilarious). It just seems too cooked up and does not come off as “real” at all. For instance the basketball player’s wife is the epitome of the phrase “new money”. Estate planner….for what!?!?!? Her husband was looking like “WTF” and the estate planner was looking like “For real!?!? I’m here to pick up Bailey’s Irish Cream”. Then there was Sheree and the party she was going to have to stop inviting people to but when she leaves the salon people just start coming out the woodwork begging to attend in which she obliged. I felt the RHW of OC knew their worth so there was no need to constantly name drop and rant and rave about how much something cost like Kim and “this purse cost 5 thousand dollars and it won’t close”. In the words of my boy Jay “you can pay for school but you can’t buy class”. But that being said I will continue to tune in and support the RHW of ATL because I’m sure they’re all fabu in their own right.

  15. Dee says:

Well here’s my two cents…I love the real housewives reality shows. They are funny and I appreciate the show for what it is worth – a good laugh! Were the ATL women behaving ghettoish – HECK YES! Stop playing! You know that was a ghetto move by Sheree and definitely a ghetto move by Nene in her reaction. LOL Wasn’t Mrs. Hartwell married to Keith Sweat? So in essence they are all diggas because their wealth came from their husbands and not their own blood, sweat and tears. But who cares, I love the show and I am going to continue to support it. It’s a black soap opera! Chill out and enjoy! Erica Kane has been a digga for years and no one complained about that! LOL

  16. Candi says:

It is refreshing to see African American families doing well. I enjoy watching the different shows that let our youngsters see what they can aspire to (wealth). It is unfortunate, however, that the reality shows almost exclusively feature only people from the entertainment or sports industry. I guess there aren’t many Black professionals and/or entreprenuers from other walks of life willing to open their lives to camera crews and critiques like mine (and all of yours).

I am a successful African American woman and my friends are two women who I grew up with. It’s hard to find true friendship. Once you achieve a certain level it is even harder to find genuine people to share your life with, men and women. So, what you see is real. There is a click, but some are going to be closer than others. They travel in the same circles, that doesn’t make them like, or respect one another. I imagine it gets even crazier for the cameras. I wish them all well. They are all beautiful and intelligent. They may be over the top, but that’s what gets the ratings. For the ones who have personal ambitions, they have found the perfect vehicle to give them the exposure to launch/promote their services, talents, and/or merchandise. What I see are some smart sisters who found a way to get millions of dollars worth of priceless national advertising in exchange for a peek into their worlds. Work it! Much success to them. Peace and blessings. I luv it!

  18. Boss Lady says:

This goes out to wanna be sista Kim: I walked in your shoes and loved the life I lived. All I did was dress, rest and look my best. I lived well, traveled, and definitely turned heads when I walked into a room. My Big Poppa was a baller, a professional gambler and we enjoyed the best of everything. He died of a heart attack. I was not his wife. While he was living I spent every dime he gave me on clothes, jewelry, cars, furs and a whole lot of other stuff. Exactly like you I walked into the Cadillac dealership and wrote a check for an Escalade with all the bells and whistles. My check was for $59,000.00. He used to laugh and say I was the most expensive habit he had ever had.

The little money I had on hand when he passed lasted me only a couple of months. I had no savings, no Mutual Fund, no retirement money, nothing but a bunch of clothes that were out of style next season, a car that depreciated $10,000.00 the minute I drove it off the lot and some jewelry the pawn shop only gave me 10 cents on the dollar for. I sold a $19,000.00 Rolex for $3,000.00 to help pay my bills. I had lived like there was no tomorrow. If I had it to do over the tens of thousands of dollars he gave me whenever I asked for whatever I wanted, I would have been stashing. You have kids. Thank God I didn’t. I managed to pull myself up, but it was a struggle. God bless the child.

We were at a party the new year’s eve a year before he passed. I was dripping in diamonds and wearing black label underneath a full length ranch mink. An older female friend of ours smiled and said to me, You always look too perfect. I smiled. Then she said, It’s later than you think. I was thirty. I had no idea what she meant. I do now. I wish I had got it then.

Hey, Kim, “It’s later than you think.”

  19. Working girl(legally) says:

    That is deep ,Boss Lady.

  20. Melly says:

You can tell that they aren’t used to anything. All Sheree does is name drop and talk about what name brand she is wearing. So fake. She’s just sitting back waiting on that 7 figure settlement from her husband. I hope she doesn’t get a dime!!!!! The housewives of OC and NY was nothing like these women. The one that’s married to the ball player. ….. A governess? C’mon girl. Get up off of your lazy tail and take care of your own family. I can see it now. She and her husband with 0 dollars saved and broke!!. That’s why so many black people end up penniless!!!!! silliness like this. Lisa is the only one that acts like she has some sense.

  21. YOU PEEPS AINT READY TO WORK FOR DIDDY…………………….SECURITY.

  22. summerhill ga says:

the show is entertaining…i look forward to the 10 year reunion…that will be the show and tell…secrets are no longer secrets now…the gates mean nothing..all the homes info are available on the internet….and previous court documents..the rich walk the walk but do not talk the talk…

  23. L.A. to ATL The Difference in People says:

This is the first RHW series I have decided to watch and amazingly I am shocked that the producers could not find more intelligent women in this city of Atlanta to showcase intellectual thoughts and understanding of what a “Budget” is. I must say, that Lisa and Shawn are the closest to having their feet planted on planet earth. When you have money there is no need speak of it, or act as if you haven’t class to go along with it. LaShawn-honestly you are under a man of God with integrity, and humbleness yet you are on television hiring a Governess to take care of what God has blessed you with a wonderful family. I can understand a housekeeper and perhaps a cook at times but you are well educated with the heart of a woman of God to do this for yourself.

Lisa, your feet are grounded than most and it is refreshing to see a strong, determined woman continue to go after her own in a sense and accomplish what “she” knows is obtainable. I look forward to your line of jewlery.

Now, Kim I must agree with Boss Lady, take note in her comments. Be wise before your clock has tick and tocked. You have to set an example for your child especially since you have a girl. Think of her in all your decisions because in the long run your decisions and actions are going to affect her not just you. Big Poppa is dishing it out to you now but are putting some on reserve in case there is ever storm; if not seek counsel from someone with knowledge such as Boss Lady. I do however admire your goal but with that goal know that hard work is expected and writing a check is not going to bring you a rainbow with your career. I wish you well, and I do value your loyalty that you displayed by not allowing Nene to leave alone. Good luck during and after the show.

NeNe, I know the filming is over and you have gone on to live your life, but listen to those who are commenting about you and your actions. You are not the Jones yet you have your own standard for which you are trying to maintain. Don’t allow little things to get to you always keep in the back of your mind, that if you didn’t get, or get in, then God has other plans for you. Reserve your tone and attitude for it is needed not to express all the time.

Sheree–You are amazing and fit into the I was and still wanna be club. It is very uncouth to announce how much you pay for an item no matter how much it may be, even more so do discuss what you are expecting to receive from your divorce settlement. Okay you have some money, but perhaps it would benefit you to attend some of the posh areas out of Atlanta, even better in London, or Italy to grasp an understanding of how not be so pretentious.

Perhaps being born into money and or working hard for your income bores a different type of person as to one who has been blessed to marry into it yet who skipped etiquette classes to maintain the class with the cash.

May God Bless each and every last one of the RHW of ATL, and I do pray that each of you take away more valuable lessons than some of those that are being seen by your viewers. And viewers…keep in mind this is a television show!

Ladies–As you have already tapped your shows, watch them and keep in mind, just like there is a heaven, there is a hell. Just in case you question how you treat one another as well as how you treat others.

  24. L.A. to ATL The Difference in People says:

Correction: taped your shows, (I do apologize for any typos, however it is quite late in the evening or shall I say very early in the morning).

  25. Susan Brown says:

Well I watched the first two episodes of RHW of ATL…and I loved it…especially Lisa Hartwell, when you have your head on straight and can actually contribute to the finances…you have a right to boast…but she is so level headed…and a go-getter….even before she married Keith…Lisa was writing/working on a play…and has NEVER looked back…she is very determined…and a person to watch and good for her…as she found out in her first marriage …it’s not all what it’s cracked up to be..and you have to have your own life within your marriage…and I am so happy for her that she has finally found her REAL HUSBAND in ATLANTA!!!!
    Congratulations Lisa and Ed…….continued success!!!

  26. DIAMONDS says:

Every woman that has posted negative comments on this site about the atlanta housewives are envious and negative.
All you broke man-less bitches wish it was you.

  27. lv2shop2 says:

Love the show, Lisa is so very down to earth, it is unreal. I Love the way her husband loves her and she loves him just as much. NeNe is off the chain, but this just go to show you that you can take the girl out of the hood, but not the hood out of the girl. I Love NeNe. You can have that stuckup ass Sheree, to much for me. ANd Kim, singing, nooooo, try another profession and start a bank account soon, cause you look a lot older then you think, and coochie comes a dime a dozen.

  28. stacie j says:

nene is the realest one on the show, she have not let money change her what i mean by that is she down to earth and she works the money the money dont work her.

  29. stacie j says:

nene is real and down to earth

  30. wipcreme says:

This is my show and I have been enjoying it so far, I think the mixed cast mates makes for an interesting plot. I watched lastnight’s episode and I was devastated with the fundraising turnout, NeNe should have listened to her gay, invites at the mall, I hope that wasn’t so.

  31. RC says:

I love the show, but Sheree gets on my nervous, Kim sit down somewhere and just keeping spending Big Popa money and Deshawn I love you have a good heart, God will BLESS You. Lisa YOU GO GIRL, handle your business. All the ladies keep doing what your doing.

  32. RC says:

NENE girl you keep it real and I love that about you. You mean what you say and say what you mean. Get It Girl

    I love you all ladies

  33. Jazmenn says:

Well, I like all the ladies on the housewives of ATL! But the main problem I have is with kim! one minute she is best friends with nene, then she callin her a bitch!! Kim is fake as hell! She said she would have nene’s back always and for ever, then she turns on her!!! NENE is my girl and I support her! Kim is hating on NeNe because girl friend got it going on and with a supportive husband behind her and I say Sheree is hating because NeNe has on of those ” I dont give a damn attitudes” and NeNE got a man!!HaHaHa! Though I must say, Even though I’m not to fond of Sheree, she has confidence like i have never seen b4, and a shoe collection I would kill to have!! But Over All I say “GO LADIES” and NeNe”DON’T LET THEM GET TO YOU,GIRL!

  34. Radio Winner1 says:

I have been a faithful watcher since the Real House Wives of OC and, being a housewife at the time my husband would wonder what in the hell did I see in these shows because each and every women who was suppose to be a housewife and WORKS!!!!! And the fact that Slate and Joe weren’t even married and neither was Quinn. The House Wives of NY Alex house was so dingy I would have been embarrassed to put that on anyones TV set. I am proud of the RHW of Atlanta at least those mirror the African American background in being able. I did notice that there are far more cursing bleeps with Atlanta’s Show than any other show. They did not curse as much come on ladies lets represent our money with our manners.

  35. Dsquared says:

I just want to say if the ‘others’can do a show why not these women LOL get in where you fit in.Frankly my favorite is NENE because she is straight up no chase and as far as her not being allowed into the party I say this REJECTION IS GODS REDIRECTION!She seems the most real out of all of them, they better remember beauty fades but ugly is to the bone LOL.Money is a good thing to have but so are true friends who love you through the good, bad and the ugly.Nene you have a father you are a CHILD OF THE KING and no weapon formed against you shall prosper just keep doing YOU!!!!

  36. The Fish says:

Sheree looks like she’s transgender. She definitly needs to slow down on the weights or the roids.

She’s cool though along with the other cast members.

    NeNe is a beast _ top dog_a straight Dime….

  37. Mo says:

U know I just do not get it. People are always talking about Sheree’s dress and how it is all that. Well to me she looks like a bad drag queen. The dress in these pics (unless it was fabulous in person) is horrible.

  38. keeping it real says:

Well i agree sheree need to wear her hair down not in a pin up because she does look DRAG!!!! let your hair hang girl it will help you! I like lisa she is sharp (dressing and business) YOU GO GIRL! Now the blond bimbo looking 52 yrs old…pls sit down…please!!! NeNe gets some class…stop acting ghetto!!!!!! Shawnie Boo grow up baby huey!!!!!!!! yawl all are phoney and look over 45 yrs old……not you lisa.

  39. tiana says:

All I have to say is I love the show. It’s very entertaining.

Oh, one more things, all the kids are so sweet and cute. But, Sheree, don’t do your son like that. A $1000 dress, no boo-boo, get a refund and head to the orthodontist with son in tow.
He will become a very handsome young man when he gets older. But, for now, teeth need some serious dental work.

  40. Lisa says:

WOW SHEREE LOOKS LIKE A DRAG QUEEN IN THESE PICS!

  41. I DON’T KNOW IF THEY KNOW IT BUT THESE GIRLS ARE THE BIGGEST THING TO HIT THE GAYS SINCE SEX IN THE CITY! WE COULD CARE LESS ABOUT ALL THE OTHER REALITY SHOWS EVEN TYRAS TIRED FREAK SHOW. THE ONLY PROBLEM IS I HVAE TO ASK, ARE ATL GAYS REALLY THAT FLAMBOYANT? THEIR GAY FRIENDS ARE WAY TOO GAY FOR ME AND MINE BUT ROCK ON HOTLANTA!

  42. Diamond says:

Most of the comments are accurate and/or valid, but for the life of me I don’t know how all of you intelligent people could not pick up on the sly, sneaky, two faced, back stabbing behavior of Lisa. She’s the little bitch that starts things and then sits back and laughs why everybody else is trying to figure out how and why this started. Then wants everyone to believe that she is the true peace maker “I don’t know why we just can’t get along.” DeShawn (no matter what you may think of her) was the only one you could trust or call a friend. Look past the cute in Lisa and see her for what she is; a trouble maker. I’m sure any psychiatrist or someone in the mental health field would recognize she has a problem. Like our mother’s used to say “watch her, she can’t be trusted.”

  43. Hello. This is kind of an “unconventional” question , but have other visitors asked you how get the menu bar to look like you’ve got it? I also have a blog and am really looking to alter around the theme, however am scared to death to mess with it for fear of the search engines punishing me. I am very new to all of this …so i am just not positive exactly how to try to to it all yet. I’ll just keep working on it one day at a time Thanks for any help you can offer here.
