Oh, Oh Madea is back and taking no prisoners! Watching this movie trailer made me laugh and I hope Tyler Perry Studios has a private screening so I can review it let you guys know all about it! They have an all star cast this time around! I saw Bow Wow, Teyana Taylor, Lauren London and my friend Rodney Perry. It looks funny and I need a good laugh! This hits movie theaters Easter!

I can’t wait to see this movie, “Precious”. This looks so dark and scarey but worth seeing. I grew up in a very dysfunctional household and I can definitely relate to some of the scenes I saw in the movie trailer. I wasn’t physically abused or anything but the mental abuse was there. I really feel for the character Precious in the movie.

I read somewhere that this is based on a true story from the novel  Push: by Sapphire. Monique plays the mother in this chilling movie.  I’ve met her several times, I never thought that she could play a character like that. She is known for being a funny lady, so to watch the trailer and see her transform is unbelievable. Gabourey Sidibe who plays Precious, deserves an Oscar for her performance.Mariah Carey also stars in the movie as a social worker. No makeup, no hairdo, no glitter, go Mariah. I’m upset that I have to wait a whole month to see this movie, it doesnt hit movie screens till November 6th. argh! Please check this movie out,it looks really good. I’m gathering all my girlfriends up to go!  Lets stop the abuse people!

Hey you guys! I have been so busy this weekend, but I have not forgot about yah! Your girl had some fab parties & events to attend and got to wear my new pink high heels lol! Well first off I want to wish Niecy Nash a Happy Birthday! She celebrated in style by having her pink carpet celebration at Derek Blanks photo studio! Warren Huntley from Warren Huntley Presents,Inc(www.whpatlanta.net) transformed Derek’s studio into a chic party place,it was fierce people! I loved how he transformed Derek’s studio into an all white chic atmosphere with tulips,and roses everywhere like a garden. So classy, so me! I love Warren’s design style and he was also celebrating 5 yrs in business too.He had some hottie guys massaging guests everyone enjoyed that.Derek Blanks is Niecy’s personal photographer so she said no better place to have it than there! Derek was very happy to accomodate her. He was looking good too on the carpet, I love my Derek,such a sweet spririt! I cant began to name all the partiers/celebs that came out to wish the Diva a great birthday(just look below). Some of the cast of Clean House was there, I had a nice time talking to Trish Suhr and Mark Brunetz,they were fun. 

The fashions were hott too, my girl Lisa Wu Hartwell had on the cutest boots,and black outfit.NeNe had on a great fitted suit, and Sheree wore one of her tees from her ShebySheree line. Kim Zoliak shut down the carpet in her Versace dress and I forgot to ask her who made the blinged out watch she was wearing but upclose you guys, it was the business! Go head Kim, you looked fab! Niecy’s dress was too cute she wore a shimmery silver halter dress and I loved her black shoes accented with rhinestones. Her toes were hott too! QParker  from r&b group 112 serenaded happy birthday to her,then she cut her cake which was so cute,it had flowers with a high heel on top! You know I loved that! Do you guys know I stayed up till 3 o’clock in the morning? I was wore out today but I had a great time. Last week Grammys Atlanta held a reception for Atlanta nominees at the W Hotel(www.whotels.com)  in downtown Atlanta. Southern region artists,singers,rappers,music producers,songwriters and more that received nominations for Grammys got acknowledged for all their hard work. Lots of people in the music industry were in attendance like,DJ Toomp,Bangelash,Dallas Austin,T.I.,Jan(voice coach) that appeared on Atlanta housewives,The Blind Boys of Alabama,and many more. I was so excited to meet Ms. Jan Smith(www.jansmith.com)  and introduced myself to her when she told me that she already knew who I was,wow! She said she seen my show and that she knew one of my guests that had appeared on it. Shari Freidman(www.sharifitness.com)  is Jan’s trainer and she appeared on my Girls Nite In show. Wow, small world lol.
