Yesterday morning, Pia and I went to a fabulous event! We were invited out to an All About Me Mixer. The event was called, “Hat-titude“, we loved it! It was held in Smyrna,Ga at Concord Hall. When we arrived, it was filled with the most beautiful women that the south has to offer! Everyone looked Pinktastic in their big pretty hats!

Most women were cancer survivors and supporters of the American Cancer Society. I saw Pia get a lil emotional because her mom passed away not to long ago, from Breast Cancer. There was a lady at the event, who talked to Pia about getting a genetic test done. Breast cancer runs in her family, on her moms side. She wanted Pia to get tested early.
There were also a lot of vendors in attendance and I saw some of my favorite people in the house. Wendy Brown, owner of Plush Boutique and Author Tracy Nicole. The food was great and we loved the sweet bites from Piece of Cake.

There was a phenomenal singer named, Gabby McGee that had a soulful spirit! Her grandma lost her battle with cancer. I remember hearing Gabby sing at the Ms.Black Ga pageant, a few months ago. Everyone loves her voice.

Then there was a fashion show but sorry guys, I don’t have any pics of that part because that’s when I got stung 3 times by a mean bee! I’m typing this post, so I am ok but I never been stung by a bee before lol. That hurt like heck but they got me some ice and the swelling went down, I’m fine.
Bee stings are not fun! Ouch!
The Hat-titude event was very nice and I want to thank Jerika Head for inviting me out! She told me, “I’m so glad you FINALLY came to one of my events”. It was nothing personal, I just get so busy lol. Jerika did an amazing job and everything was so classy and she had a great turn out! She said she did this event because her mom has cancer and thats why she wore yellow. Her mom was suppose to be a model in the fashion show but she got ill and had to be admitted in the hospital. Please say a prayer for her. Enjoy the pics and happy sunday everyone!
