Interior Designer Mattie McFadden-Lawson hosted an elegant affair at her historic Hancock Park estate in Los Angeles, California on Tuesday, November 15th in honor of beauty and style authority Mikki Taylor to celebrate the forth coming release of Mikki’s new book, “Commander in Chic: Every Woman’s Guide to Managing Her Style Like a First Lady.”

With her “classic with a twist” sensibility, Michelle Obama oozes chic! Mikki Taylor has taken Mrs. Obama as her muse, to write the book women who admire them both have been waiting for, “Commander in Chic,” available in stores nationwide on November 29th.

Actress Tasha Smith who plays a fun character in the most anticipated movie, Jumping the Broom made an appearance at the premiere. She looked very radiant in her Mandalay dress and I loved the hair and shoes! I had the pleasure of interviewing Tasha a few times and she was so fun to talk to. Her movies comes out this weekend, please go out and try to support it, its very good!

Tyler Perry opened his new studio here in Atlanta. It was a star studded event and lots of well dressed celebrites hit the red carpet. I was not invited and not shocked because for some reason he shuns the media here in Atlanta.Ive never said a mean word about noone in the entertainment business lol. Ive even reached out to his pr team, and Execs there, shoot Ive even seen his Executive Prod out,had him on my show, he has even seen me covering all types of events here in Atlanta, and still they turn their noses up. So…oh well I wish him alot of luck with all he does and Im going to leave it at that. My schedule is pretty full anyway lol. Im going to keep it moving.
