Day 2 at Tybee Island was soo relaxing. The kids and I got up and headed over to Ed & Lisa’s house and we were told that there was going to be a huge St. Patrick Day parade. Everybody in town was walking around in green and getting ready with their floats. I just so happen to have some green in my luggage and the kids so we hurried to get dressed.

We all met for lunch at Cafe Loco and the food was awesome! We met the owners Joel Solomon and his wife and their kids. Joel the owner told Lisa he was going to play, Tardy for the party on the float later and he did lol.  They gave us soo much food to eat at their restaurant and it as soo good. I have never had buffalo shrimp but boy o boy,I will be coming back to get more of that, it was soo good! We really had a great time there!

Later we went to watch the parade and it was soo fun. My kids rode on Ms.Stacye’s float and they gave out candy. After that we went to a cocktail party at Ms. Stacye’s house who owns www.oceanfrontcottage.com . Her home is absolutely breath taking. The mansion is 3 levels and sits off the water, wow! We all met up and had a great time!

After that we went to dinner at The Crab Shack. We heard soo much about this place and everyone in town was telling us to go there. The food was great, my kids and I ordered crab legs ofcourse. We had a ball with conversation and dancing and listening to the music. Jack Flanigan and his wife own this huge place, the food was great!

Hey you guys so me and the kiddies made is safely in the General Motors bumble bee with NO tickets! We had a blast and I am very excited and blessed to be able to get away for a few days with the kids. Now that we are settled down and just got back from dinner, I am now able to take a few pics to show you my actual place I am staying at.

A cottage was what I was expecting but instead of a small place they put me in a mansion and what a surprise! Its 3 levels with 6 bedrooms, 2 full kitchens and I forgot how many bathrooms. It has a swimming pool in the back with kid playground, and jacuzzi. The rooms are very spacious and I love how its right by the beach,so peaceful and serene. My kids are a lil scared because of how spacious it is but they will be just fine. I have some more friends coming down a lil later but till tomorrow, take a look at  some of the rooms,gorg!

Hello you guys, just wanted to let you know that I will be on a mini vacay this weekend. I am headed to Tybee Island with my kids and staying at the gorgeous Oceanfront Cottage Rentals. A good friend of mine, Toren Anderson represents Tybee Island and she told me so much about these beautiful cottages that people stay at when visiting. Alot of celebs come to Tybee Island to get away like Myley Cyrus, Sandra Bullock and soo many more!

I had a lil free time this weekend, so I’m packing up and heading down to meet some other friends there as well! I know we are going to have a pinktastic time! I would like to thank Ms. Stacye C. Jarrell, Ms.Toren, and Jessica and Araba from General Motors for allowing this to happen.

I will be test driving the  2010 Camaro and praying that I don’t get a ticket lol. The car was delivered to me yesterday at my doorstep and the family loves it! We will be riding in style, driving down to Tybee Island! I will have plenty of pictures for you guys and I will be talking about this experience on my live show on www.minglemediatv.com at 11am est on Monday! I’m leaving to go out of town to do a review this weekend at Tybee Island in Savannah,Ga. All of this was put together by the fab Toren Anderson! The place that I’m reviewing is www.oceanfrontcottage.com. Then I thought to myself, hmm I should give my pals over at General Motors a phone call so that I can ride in style. Last car I test drove for GM was a Buick Lacrosse and I loved that car! I hated to give it back. They called me back in a prompt manner and said yes, we can have that delivered to your door this week! Now if that ain’t service with a smile, I dont know what is lol.

I explained what I was doing and they were happy to oblige. I was jumping up and down when they said they had a 2010 v6 Chevy Camaro! The rep said and guess what Tami we are shipping you the bumble bee! I said gasp, not the yellow one? He said you got it! I am going to be riding in style, cant wait to drive it! I would like to thank Araba from GM for hooking me up, you rock!

Last night I had an amazing time!  Alot of local media was invited out to sample a new menu at C&S  Seafood and Oyster Bar. I love trying new restaurants,it’s so much fun! I know this will be a busy valentine day weekend for alot of couples, so what a perfect time to tell my readers about a great hot spot to try. C & S Seafood and Oyster Bar is located in the Cobb Parkway area of Atlanta. When I walked in the door, I felt like I had entered a fast paced NYC joint.

The atmosphere felt like a family owned business. It was filled with white linens and wine glasses everywhere, I already loved it. When I chatted with Rich Clark, co-owner of C&S Seafood and Oyster Bar he told me he wanted it to be like a neighborhood place.

He said mostly 75% of the business comes from people around the area. They opened the restaurant in 2008. Rich studied accounting before transitioning into the restaurant business. He told me he worked his way up from bus boy to general managers, at some of the most upscale restaurants. I asked Rich to give people out there some good advice if they were thinking of opening a business. He told me jokingly but seriously, “CASH FLOW” lol. I agree, it’s a tough economic time, do your research and location is always key. Having great food and great customer service is  very important too!

I must say I enjoyed the raisin bread, the Ricotta meatballs, and the crab cocktail, yummy. Everything else was very good too, those were just my favs. If you ever visit Atlanta or live here please check out the C&S Seafood and Oyster Bar, you will love it.

This weekend they are offering a 3 course meal for 35.00, 50.00 with wine. It was also great seeing Suchita from Good Day Atlanta,Dennis from Jadore Mag,and Marion from Haute Travels. We also celebrated Tom’s b-day, he was so surprised lol. Happy Birthday to you buddy! Gracie Hitchcock from Dolce,Stephanie from Skirt Atlanta and everyone else, it was great seeing and meeting you too!  Shouts out also to Toren Anderson for the invite, everything was lovely!
