Congrats to Monique

Hey there guys, I survived the Oscars last night lol.Congrats goes out to Monique for winning the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress! Woot! I’ve never watched the whole show in my life but with the help of twitter, my friends kept me amused. It’s so funny to see all these huge celebrities come on the red carpet to then see them just never get it quite right.If I had half the coins these stars had, I would be soo sharp! Maybe it’s just me but I really didn’t see anything that really stood out!

Maybe I had to be on the carpet up close and personal, to really see the sparkle in the dresses lol. Most people looked like they just pulled something out of the closet and said, heck I will wear this! I would have pulled out all the stops if I was nominated but most stars were just plain and boring looking. I do not have a fav dress this time around maybe you do,chime in!

I guess this was the best dress I saw on the carpet. Sandra Bullock’s Marchesa gown.

Amanda was sparkly but washed out looking in Armani Prive

Red carpet looks at the Golden Globes

Last night it was a soggy red carpet at the Golden Globes! First of all, whoever didn’t get the memo that it was going to be rainy skies will be in the unemployment line this morning lol. How do you not tent an award show such as the Globes, I’m scratching head lol. The umbrellas blocking the shots, and killing the whole feel of the red carpet made me want to turn the channel.

I was so happy to see that The Hangover won for Best Motion Picture Comedy or Musical! That movie was so funny my hubby and I were in tears! If you have not seen it please rent it,hilarious! I have a very weird sense of humor and I hardly ever laugh at movies or comedy shows, so if I laughed I think its worth seeing lol.

Congrats also goes out to Monique for winning an award for Best performance by an actress in a supporting role in a motion picture . I was not loving her dress but I did like her hair and makeup. From my understanding from tweets on twitter, her makeup artist charges 5,000 for that look! I almost fell out of bed when I heard that number. I wouldn’t care if he used 14 carat gold brushes on me or if I had the money to blow, I still wouldn’t pay that! The thing is Monica’s face was pretty but I’ve seen alot of gorg faces, like Kim Kardsashian’s. I wonder what her makeup artist charge? To each it’s own I guess smh! Here are some of the dresses from the carpet that alot of people were talking about. I saw alot of misses and some hits I loved. Ok lets get to the dresses,happy monday enjoy!
