Hey Yall me and my kids made this quick lil video last night to say hi to all of you! My daughter showed me a cute feature on my laptop that I had no idea how to use. It was very simple and now that I got the hang of it you will definitely see more random vlogs from me! I had no idea for a whole year that I had this cute lil feature on my Macbook Pro. Leave it to these new age kids today to know more about technology than us old farts lol. Enjoy our lil random video we did at the last minute and Enjoy your day!

Valentine’s Day at the Reeds

The hubby and I awh!

I woke up this morning to hear my hubby coming through the door. He was walking towards me with a huge smile on his face. See, my hubby knows I get a kick out of Valentine’s Day lol. It’s my favorite holiday and I love celebrating it! He then whipped out flowers with a big card. I loved the card because he always finds funny ones.

I thought that was so sweet of him. I gave him a card and told him I wanted to treat him to breakfast. As we got ready to go and headed out the driveway,the kids popped up of nowhere and pulled up next to us from a sleepover lol. They were like,” hey where are you guys going,yall trying to ditch us? That was the end of our date right there lol.

The kids piled in the car and said,hey we want to go to Golden Corral. My hubby and I just looked at each other. It was not our choice of restaurants to go to but what were we going to do lol. We laughed and headed to the restaurant they wanted to go to. I gave my kids goody bags and they looked inside and said,is this it?

We just shook our heads. I said,” yup, that’s it kiddos, we treated you to breakfast and you guys weren’t suppose to be home on “our” date and this is the thanks we get,beat it”! It’s always fun here at The Reeds home and my kids make me laugh so much but anywhoo Happy Valentine’s Day to you and yours! Keep it pinky!

My water babies

Ever since I can remember, my kids loved water. I use to have to yell at them to get out the tub or shower lol. I got my kids swimming lessons early in their lives because there has always been this stereotype about black people not knowing how to swim lol. I took swim lessons in high school and so did my husband. We all love the water. When our kids came along my husband and I agreed to get the kids swim lessons. After the swim lessons, our kids have lived at the pool from sun up till sun down.

I watch my kids play at the beach and pool and they seem to be at peace. They get along, there is no bickering our arguing and they play well together(maybe I need to install a pool in my house lol). I dont know but they really love being on beaches too. Over the weekend we had a chance to take a mini vacay down to Jacksonville Beach, Florida and my kids absolutely loved it!

They played in the sand,watched people fish, and gathered seashells along the shore. We really have water babies and I’m glad we introduced them to the water. I just sat back and let them play and explore and learn. If I wasn’t so afraid of Tsunamis or hurricanes I would love to build a house right by the ocean. That would be so wonderful…Sigh.
