Last night I attended the Grammy’s Atlanta Chapter reception for our locals that were nomiated for Grammys. I’ve been attending this award show for many years and it’s so fun to be apart of. Just as we were about to pack up, Atlanta Housewife and Attorney, Phaedra Parks hit the red carpet. I knew that she loved Herve Leger but I couldn’t decide if what she was wearing was an Alexander McQueen number. When she made it down to me, I asked her and she said, “yes girl, you know I’m wearing Herve Leger my favorite designer”. She paired the Fall 2010 RTW fitted dress with black patent Jimmy Choos. She looked very nice carrying a sparkly rhinestoned clutch purse and grey mink stole in tow. Go Phaedra! xoxo

On Thursday night,newest cast member of Atlanta Housewives Marlo Hampton stepped out in style to host an event. The event was held at the Gold Room in Atlanta. Marlo and I chatted on the phone about the party beforehand and when she told me what time it started and when she was going to arrive, I did a major eye roll lol. If you know me, I am NOT a night person at all and anything past 10pm I am NOT going to make it! I was a wee bit upset that I didn’t go though because from looking at the photos they had a ball!

She said, “well Tami let me know if you change your mind so I can put you on the V.I.P. list with us but I do understand”. I also don’t live in the city of Atlanta and I have a 50 minute commute. So I missed it and I knew she was going to be sh*tty sharp and yup she was lol. Fashion Diva to the “Gawds” stepped out in a Valentino couture mink dress from the Fall 2010 collection paired with Christian Louboutin Swarovski Bronze Crystal Pigalle pumps and Chanel belt. I almost fainted this morning when I looked at her outfit on fellow blogger, FreddyO’s site! I laughed so hard because she gave all the haters the pie face! She “did it on em” with style and grace ha! Gotta love her for keeping her head up through all the negativity! Go head Marlo do the damn thing! I wish I could pull off wearing that ensemble, you definitely have to have the legs for that dress and she does, all the way up to her eyebrows! Enjoy xoxo

NeNe Leakes is a stand out reality star that is making MAJOR moves since making her debut appearance on the top rated show, The Real Housewives of Atlanta! Her along with Caroline Manzo(New Jersey),Vicki Gunvalson(Orange Cty),Kyle Richards(Beverly Hills) and Ramona Singer(New York). In the article they talk about catfights, the six figure incomes, Bravo cashing in making a whopping quarter of a billion dollars of the brand and more! I know that I tune into the housewives shows and Atlanta is my number one show, then New Jersey, then Beverly Hills! The ladies look very nice! Enjoy!

At the end of every year I like to post some of the “Best Of ” from 2011. It’s fun to go down memory lane and look through my archives of all the events I covered, invited out to or simply just went to hang out. This year I was recognized in my community, awarded several times and more! It has been a crazy year, I must say! I learned to pin on Pinterest, grow my followers on twitter and use tumblr! I have met some fabulous people and some folks that I was not too happy to meet. I have gained some true friends and comment stalkers as well lol. I feel as though I have grown a lot with my ventures. I got a chance to travel to Jamaica! The very first time I had EVER been out of the country! I enjoy my job and meeting new people, it makes me really happy! It makes my job so worth wild! People still ask me today what do you do actually? It’s hard to say but I work in media, I’m a fashion and beauty editor of a few magazines,blogger,red carpet correspondent and I’m all things social media, how about that lol. I have seen me look at hot mess and really nice and in between! My weight has fluctuated between a 12 and 14, I see it in my pics lol.All in all i must say its been a learning experience and I wouldn’t change anything in the world.
