DreamKids Hair Care and Wal-Mart Inc. presented a holiday celebration at the Farrington Rd. Wal-Mart in Atlanta featuring a debut performance of the Dream Kids jingle “Dream Big” by Noelle Robinson daughter of supermodel and Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Cynthia Bailey and actor Leon Robinson. R&B Singer Miguel

R&B crooner Miguel who you guys might know from his hit singles Sure Thing & All I Want Is You was in Atlanta over the weekend to surprise a female fan and her guest to a private dinner with him at Twelve Hotel at Atlantic Station. I walked in and the first thing I saw was his winning smile,I liked him already and kinda knew he he was since I am always bopping my head to his songs in my car!

He had dinner with a pretty young lady by the name of Raime Reed and her guest Latoya Reed. She was apart of the African Pride Glam Squad contest. Raime entered a contest where she had to submit hair trend photos to African Pride. She was the lucky winner selected and got to get a complete makeover by Atlanta’s finest glam team!

Christian Balenciaga(who has done my face before) did her makeup, Fashion stylist Tameka Raymond did the styling, celebrity stylist Gail Hudson did the hair and Photographer Reggie Anderson shot the whole experience! What a lucky girl!

When I arrived to interview Miguel he was in the middle of dinner passing along the entrees. My friend Julian Lark and I blasted off questions to him and he was so fun to chat with. He told me he was mexican and black and I was in shock! He looks asian to me and he told me he gets that a lot but he said jokingly,”I can fix your car and sing you a song” lol.

He loves music and is so blessed to have a lot of people loving his material. WE wrapped our interview portion and before we let him get back to his lovely ladies, we took some photo opts.I must say he was such a delight and true gentlemen! I wish him much success in his career! I loved the winner’s hair,makeup and outfit, fab girl! Thanks to Nicole Garner from The Garner Circle for the invite! xoxo

Here is my jam, Sure Thing!

Over the weekend I was invited out to a tasting and party for a spirit called, XO Brandy O.G.(Original Gangster) held at a private swanky space in Midtown Atlanta. The 10 year old brandy owned by Aiko has now teamed up with rapper and actor Ice-T. I think that was a genius move being that Ice T was well known as being a gangster back in the day. Ice T and his wife Coco were in town to introduce the brandy and celebrate the collaboration.

I’m not that much of a drinker and especially of brandy but people were lined up at the bar to get samples. At the party they also served mini bites, infused X.O. brandy cupcakes and great music. Later Ice T and his volumptuous wife Coco hit the carpet looking very happy and in love. Ice T told her, “yeah honey show those shoes, get your photo on”, I was laughing so hard. She told me her shoes were by designer Gianmarco Lorenzi. Ice T and Coco were very nice welcoming everyone while mingling with the crowd. I would like to thank The Garner Circle for the personal invite! I would also like to thank Kmart for my Slimfabulous Women’s Twisted Top Dress,Happy Tuesday!

Last night I was invited to a private occasion at Spice Market in midtown Atlanta. Strength of Nature presented, A Dinner of Distinction. The very pretty Newsanchor Jovita Moore and actress Kaira Akita hosted the affair along with some of Atlanta’s most inspiring and influential business women.

On Tuesday, May 24, I was invited to a private occasion at Spice Market in midtown Atlanta. Strength of Nature of Nature Global presented “A Dinner of Distinction.” The very pretty news anchor, Jovita Moore, and actress Kaira Akita hosted the affair and were joined by some of Atlanta’s most inspiring and influential businesswomen

It was a great night of memorable conversations, great cuisine, wine and tasty desserts from Spice Market and Gimme Some Sugar. Charlene Bastien of Strength of Nature greeted the guests and had a pink champagne toast. Jovita Moore and Kaira Akita shared a few words and, after a moment of thanks, we dined. I got to meet so many fun ladies with different career paths. It’s always good to network and share ideas and support women in business.

African Pride launched their My Pride, My Way Party last night and it was filled with many people there to see what was new! The event was held at King Plow Arts Center and hosted by Americas Next Top Model Toccara and Actor Lance Gross. I saw product reviews, demos, makeup artist and more informing the audience on all the great products that they offer. I chatted with platform hairstylists that styled fab hairstyles, I talked to makeup artist and people in the crowd to see if they had ever used the products and how they felt about it. It was a night of entertainment, food, drinks and good music. OMG booth was there also to capture the fun! We also walked away with red goody bags filled with products from African Pride.
