The 42nd Annual American Music Awards aired last night and let’s just say it made me fall asleep quickly! All I know is that Nikki Minaj took home album of the year and congrats to her! She beat out Jay Z and Kanye wow! I did not have a favorite on the red carpet as far as women was concerned but Adam Lambert was very sparkly in his three piece suit! You guys know I get all gitty when its that time to go in on the celebrities red carpet arrivals at award shows. So lets get started on the Billboard Awards white carpet fails and hails lol. The best look this time around goes to singer Keri Hilson. I think that she looked very springish,appropriate and just well put together. Her new hair color,makeup and fashion choice was a winning look. I’m not a fashion expert but I love it and if I had the cash to buy these expensive designer duds I would. Since I don’t, I like to give “my” opinion on what I like and don’t like. Ok enough let’s get going!

Grammys and the Red Carpet recap

I had a ball watching the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards last night. It was held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Without my twitter friends I don’t know if I would have been able to sit through it but I managed lol. I thought that Beyonce did just ok but I really wish she would have song something more upbeat. the tribute to Michael Jackson was nice,Mary J Blige and Andrew did a great job as well as the Black Eye Peas.

Lady GaGa and Elton John did a great job, I love Elton he is such a great sport! I loved how Jamie Foxx came out,that was funny and then T-Pain was the conductor with white wig, hilarious. I thought that Pink stole the show as she song live doing a trapeze act mid air.Great Job Pink, your body looked amazing! I think I would have liked to see Lady Gaga get an award on air.

She looked so disappointed in the audience. Taylor Swift took home Album of the Year and alot of people are questioning why? I know why because we parents give our kids to much darn allowance money, and who is the most spenders? Tweens! Overall it was a nice show, I could have been cleaning out the closet but my twitter friends kept me amused!
