I almost hit the floor when I got an email last week from Spanx asking me if I would like to be apart of their new project for their new swimwear line! I jumped up and down and then I stopped for a minute. I ran back to the computer and grabbed my readers to make sure I read the email correctly! I said to myself, hold up a swimsuit model,who me??? Do they have the right person,the right email addy? Oh lawd, I’m in no shape to be prancing around modeling a swimsuit but then I read the email closely. It said they were looking for “real-life women” to show before and after makeovers and they would be conducting interviews on video to tell why we love Spanx swimwear. I said, welp I guess that would be me! Ha!
You know that in the United States women on average,are a size 12/14. I guess the chicas over at Spanx knew what they were doing and I definitely fit into those demographics! I was taken back for a minute because I thought out loud, “oh dear how am I going to get swimsuit ready in one week?” I just said a prayer and I’m going to leave it up to the experts! The shoot is tomorrow afternoon and you know your girl will be live instagram’n and tweeting the whole experience. There is suppose to be a top notch glam squad on duty, a great photographer and a swimsuit stylist…oooh la-la! They even asked me what size shoes I wear! I love taking photos and I am so glad to work with Spanx! I modeled one of their swimsuits from last year when I took a trip to Jamaica and I really liked it(click here)! Now they have a new and improved line and I can’t wait to test drive it! Woot! I’m about to jump outta my skin, so let me go get mentally prepared and please check back for photos and a recap of everything! xoxo
