Sunglasses in quirky shapes are trending for Spring/Summer but many designers try hard to popularize them. Heart, oval and even diamond-shaped eyewear looks fabulous and can be a perfect choice for girls who aren’t afraid to look funny and attract attention. I still wear my heart-shaped pink sunnies and I don’t care who likes them or not! Do you love funny shaped eyewear like I do? They are fun, flirty and it’s so girly! Check out some of these cute shades like Jeremy Scott, Tory Burch and Giles! Happy Sunday!

Friday, February 3rd, 2012Pinky Review Summertime Shades
Friday, June 24th, 2011I live in Atlanta,Ga. This is one place I can definitely say has fabulous weather. For three weeks straight it has been nothing but hot weather and sunshine. I don’t know about you but I’m a sunglass girl. I love all the different shapes and styles and recently I was sent a few cool pairs to try. First I got 2 new styles of shades from Guess. The first pair are called, “MiMi”. There a plastic frame in the color of pink and white with the word Guess on the side in gold script. They were perfect for a day of fun in the sun at Lake Lanier Island. They fit my face perfectly and kept out the sun. These are my favorite because they are very sturdy, stylish and pretty affordable plus they had a touch of pink! This pair was $75.00.
I was also sent the “Kali” sunglasses in all white with black trim around the rim with the letter G on the side. These were very stylish but kept sliding off my face. I don’t think I have a small face but I wanted to love these soo much because of the style. They just didn’t fit my face properly. My daughter tried them on and they fit her perfect! Go figure! These cost $70.00, not too bad. Guess who’s wearing them?
I also was shipped some fancy shades from a company called, Velvet Eyewear. I received the “Joni” sunglasses that came with a very nice purple velvet case. The Joni is handmade in Italy and offers 100% UV protection. I was on a segway tour on a sunny day in downtown Atlanta and these sunglasses came in handy. I liked the fit, style and color. These were some good looking sunglasses and I got plenty of compliments. They are a bit pricey though, these shades were $145.00. If you are in need of some new shades for summer check out these two companies! They have plenty of styles and shapes to choose from. Thanks to Guess and Velvet Eyewear for sending over the shades!
