Hey guys, I just want to start off by saying thanks to God for all my blessings! Yesterday afternoon was soo darn fun and I can’t believe it was over so fast! I started my day off by preparing for the shoot then doing my tootsies in a nice hot pink shade and adding sparkle on top with two new Essie shades. I then gave my self a mini-facial and put moisturizer on my face and curled my hair and pinned it.

I tried on three different style suits:

I prepared a bag of extra things and headed down the interstate to my shoot which was a 25 minute commute, not too bad. I was welcomed by a pretty lady by the name of Charlotte who helped me every step of the way, she was darling! I was then greeted by Jabe Mabrey who was my fashion stylist! We instantly hit if off! He said,”ooh you got the gurls” this is going to be fun!” I was cracking up! We joked the whole time! He had laid out all sorts of fabulous sparkly jewelry, sunglasses, shoes, sunhats, beach bags, towels and more! I was in complete heaven!

The Spanx staff had me take a few shots, before the beat down(makeover). I came in looking decent with hair pulled back and no makeup on. They then gave me a swimsuit to put on for my first look which was ofcourse PINK! I was like woot, yes I’m feeling Pinktastic now! I loved the new suit and the ruffle top. I did a runway walk, posed in the suit, snapped some photos and I was off into my second look. The next suit was blue and reminded me of a nice retro-styled mini dress but that you can completely go swimming in! I loved how it fit my body and it covered me up in the right places and it gave “the gurls” extra support! With that particular swimsuit (which everyone loved on me by the way), I did my interview questions in. They asked me how I like the suit, how did I feel in it and more. It was a fun filled day and I want to thank EVERYONE who was involved, you guys rock! I’ve NEVER been around so many professional and talented people in the same room all at once! I’m so nervous to see what the final project will look like but rest assure, I will definitely let you know when the video and photos on the site go up.They said to look out for something mid February! I also got to leave with the two suits that I modeled in, with a cute Spanx beach tote! I will be under the section Real-Life Women on Spanx.com Woot!
