Cheyenne the birthday princess!

When I was a young girl, I didnt have too many birthday parties. My hubby always ask me why I go all out for the kids birthdays,now he knows why. Yes as pinktastic as I am, I never really had big birthday parties. It wasnt that my mom didnt have the money to give my sister and I parties, she was just not sociable. Gasp, I know some of you may think, well where did she get her social skills from then? lol.

I guess it came from my dads side, not sure. I always said when I had my own kids, I was going to celebrate their special days in grand style! My kids are now 10 and 12 and they tell me they are growing tired of the big parties and opt out for just a few friends with cake and thats it ,wow!

My good friend Stephen Gilmore, CEO of Schere-Inc had a fab party for his daughter Cheyenne yesterday at Monkey Joes! She turned the ripe ol age of 7! Wow, I can remember that age, it was good memories. So I had a great time hanging out with her and her friends and family.She looked cute and the theme was Hello Kitty! As long as it was pink, I was happy,tee hee!

I gave her the So In Style Barbie, I heard she likes dolls. I gave her Trichelle and Janessa. She actually got quite a few Barbies I was checking them out lol. She is such a sweetie and I wish her many more Pinktastic Birthdays!

It’s Been a Barbie Week!

I think we all know by now that I have two luvs! Pink and Barbies,yes the girlie loves her dollies and Pink is my fav color! Who knew ha! Well this week has been very good to me because I have been surrounded with all things Barbie! First I get to talk to Tarina Tarrantino’s(www.tarinatarantino.com) publicists and she says that Tarina was flattered that I mentioned her on my blog.They want to work with me,shut up… I cant believe it!

They sent me out some jewels that she created for Barbie. I almost passed out when they arrived! Here is pics of the pieces she sent to me and from my understanding, Paris Hilton has my earrings and Heidi Klum sports my necklace. I was too excited to recieve this in the mail.

Then I was at the Mall of Ga and I run into this fab club kid that was wearing a Barbie Shirt, Betsey purse and Pink Ballet slippers! He was too fierce and I quickly stopped him in the mall and asked who he was. He said my name is Carlos, well Carlos I was too jealous that you had on everything I love and I need a fashion lesson stat because you were working it at the biggest mall in Ga lol.

Then it gets better you guys. My new Bff hits me up on twitter and guess who it is? Its Stacey McBride creator of the AKA Barbie and the new So In Style Barbie! I was in Barbie heaven all week, I cant believe it! She said she will be coming to Atlanta and I will get to meet her in person,I cant wait!

Then I was picking my son up from a birthday party. The mom and I got to chatting and I noticed she had a Barbie catalog! My heart starting racing and I said, with a deep breathe, are you a Barbie collector? She said,yes! I said omg can you show me what you have? She went in this room and came out with all the Byron Lars Barbies he has ever made! In Rachel Zoe’s voice,”Oh- My- God”! She talked about how she has been collecting for years and they were in immaculant condition. I love when someone else shares my interest,its so Pinktastic. So I had a fab Barbie week and if you have any pics of you and your Barbies please send to me so I can post!

My Barbies I collect..Pepper(Byron Lars sent it to me),Southern Belle(porcelain) and 50th Anniversary Barbie Collector. I would have had more,but my mom threw my Barbies out when I was a lil girl! So I had to start all over! Smh
