My beat down with Christian!

Christian Balenciaga(GeishaBoii)

I’ve been seeing alot of Christians work all over town.He is a celebrity makeup artist here in Atlanta and I was dying to try him out. We connected on twitter (both of our social network hangouts) and we set up a date for me to come by. First I would like to say he is very sweet.I loved his personality and we vibed right off the rip. When I got to his house, I noticed the house decor. I was so impressed by the artwork and decor of his home it was quite exciting to look at wow! He loves asian inspired artifacts, plus he goes by GeishaBoii anyway, I kinda knew what to expect.

I’m feeling pretty!

I was greeted by four fluffy furry animals! Im not a fan of animals but his doggies were gorg! I met Tahjz and Tyson. All his dogs were so cute and friendly. He had everything set up and we proceeded to “Beat me down” as he liked to call it. We chatted about people he liked to work with and some celeb faces he has done. I asked Christian who was some of his favs and what kinda of faces he likes to work with. He told me he loves to work on women with alot of facial features. Women with keen features he loves. Some of his clients include singer Monica,comedian/talk show host Monique and soo many more. He said its hardly any women in the industry that he has not beat lol.

I was going to an event last night and he told me to come over to work his magic. As you can see when I’m not working I’m in sweat pants and t-shirts and hair pulled back.I’m very low key at home or out and about, just like Christian. He said alot of people take him the wrong way but he is just very quiet and subdued. I’m not as quiet as he is but I totally understand him. He said he just wants to do great work in a field he loves. I can totally respect that and his art.

We talked and laughed and his mom even stopped by. She came by to make him some dressing, which he says is his favorite. He said I was pretty easy to do but some clients can take awhile to achieve a total look. I do know that Christian likes to also get into character when he goes out. I’ve snapped him a couple of times dressed up. I almost dont recognize him on the red carpets, he brings the drama…Pow! If your looking for a makeup artist please check out some of Christians work. Lil Rocko & Romelo party hardy!

Happy Birthday Lil Rocko & Romelo!

Last night I had a fun time going to Lil Rocko & Romelo’s Birthday Extravaganza! These two handsome young men know how to throw a party! Their party was held at a new bowling facility called, Red Carpet Lanes located in Duluth,Ga. All the celebrities hang out here on Sundays. Lil Rocko and Romelo had other plans though, by shutting down the whole bowling alley and making it their special day, ha!

This red carpet affair had nothing but the hottest celeb kids and their parents strolling down the carpet, looking hot! They were kinda quiet looking around with their stunner shades on, dressed in their orange and blue Polo matching outfits! They were cleaner than the board of health lol. They waved to all their fans as they arrived being carried in by their parents, singer Monica and rapper Rocko, (you know they didnt want to get their kicks dirty) lol. When the Papparazzi finished taking their pics they showed everyone around and made sure everybody was well taken of. You could bowl,play video games,eat in the V.i.P. area and take keepsake photos, courtesy of Celeb Photographer FreddyO. They even gave out thank you t-shirts with their faces on them, now thats Pinktastic!

Lil Rocko and Romelo’s families from both sides came out to show support. I asked the boys when they aren’t designing for their clothing line, attending red carpet affairs, and taping their reality show, what do they like to do? They responded, that they love to go to Dollywood. They told me they absolutely love it! You can tell they have a great family unit and we all know, family is very important.

Some celeb sightings I saw were Jermaine Dupri and his daughter Shaniah, Celeb Photographer Derek Blanks and his son Beau(Beau, you and I have to have a talk lol) and some reality stars like, Jamilah Rouse of The Real Women of Atlanta and football players.

The boys blew out their candals and cut their cake, (which was too cute by the way) and they had tons of gifts to take home. I would like to thank the boys for the personal invite, my son and I had a great time! Ina from The Starfire Group and The Garner Circle Pr did a fantastic job! Check out the pics below!

Stylist Shun Melson’s Baby Shower

Babies are so cute and sometimes I think I want to have another one, till my kids start arguing, no thanks lol. Yesterday evening Celebrity Stylist Shun Melson invited me to her baby shower. Since I moved here four years ago, I’ve been invited to maybe one shower,whats up with that? I don’t know why that is but I love baby showers but it was good to get out. I met Shun about two years ago at Derek Blanks studio. She was always styling some celeb and I didnt quite understand what she did. Where I come from, you just get dressed and go on your way. She said no, its an art to dressing someone and they pay me to do it. She definitely does too, she owns CreativeSolutionzllc and she has the hottest clients around! I never knew back then, dressing someone was a big deal lol. I’m learning you guys more and more.

Shun styles some of the hottest celebrities like NeNe Leakes,model Veishena Drain, rapper Shawty Lo and R&B Singer Monica,that you see came to the shower. I was looking at Shuns pics on her website, the other day and I’ve come to the conclusion that her signature look is the bow. She loves pretty bows! I like them to girl!

Shun looked adorable in her haute couture outfit. I was like wow, I didn’t look that great when I was pregnant,I had on a tent,in blue lol. Now a days they wear stilletos and sparkly leggings lol. Lots of people came to rub on her belly and wish her well. She is expecting a baby boy and has a name picked out as well,Chase. Her other son name is Chazz. People played baby shower games like, guess that tune, complete with buzzards and then later they had a Babynista fashion show. You had to create a hott look for the red carpet,Naterica Johnson won that contest.

Why was Jamil Pratt the best dressed Diva there? He told me he is also a stylist and works at Neiman Marcus. He wore skinny jeans,designer jacket,Christian Loubutin pumps and Coco Chanel purse, he play to much, and shut down the party! I was so jealous lol. Christian was there too, he does makeup for all the stars in Atlanta and especially does singer Monica. I remember meeting him at the Atlanta Housewives premiere party and he had that fire engine red hair. He brings the drama to any party!

Shun’s husband is a chef and I had no idea he owned a restaurant. The menus were teddy bears that flipped over to read what you wanted, I loved that. Teh lil details were adorable and her party planner did an amazing job. I selected the fried pork chops,yams and mac & cheese with drink.The drink on the menu was Chace Tini how cute is that! I was ready to curl up and take a nap after that meal, it was sooo yummy, omg! It was southern eating alright!

I got a chance to chat with NeNe and she said she has been really working her butt off! NeNe’s hubby Greg brought in tons of boxes of diapers because that is what Shun had on her gift registry. I wish the happy couple a healthy baby and if you need a sitter you know where to find me! Congrats to the Melson family!
