Atlanta Weddings Book Signing/Party

Two fabulous divas Gail Johnsn and Hester Park own Wedding Soiree . Over the weekend they had a book signing for their newly released title called, Atlanta Weddings for the modern,stylish, chic bride. The event was held at Ventanas, Atlanta’s premier rooftop event space. This was the same place that Gail and Hester shot the cover of their book.

We enjoyed great bites, a Pinkalicious dessert station,cocktails from the open bar, photos from OMG Booth and a special performance from singer Algebra. It was a great evening of fun and relaxation. We also got to see some of their work displayed throughout the venue. The attendees looked fabulous and it was so fun to meet other wedding vendors. I wish Gail and Hester much success with their business and their new wedding book! I would also like to thank them for inviting me out and signing my copy! xoxo

I’m luvin it!

Last nite I was invited out to listen to some great singers perform at where else, Mickey D’s! I know I was like when did McDonalds(www.mcdonalds.com) start doing concerts? Well McDonalds is hosting the McCafe Urban Soul Lounge and the first series was held at McDonalds parking lot under a tent in Tucker,Ga. When I saw the line up of performers I called my buddy Taylor(www.indakno.com) and said lets get there fast! Plus I loved the fact that it was not too far from my house!

McDonalds has launched some new McCafe beverages and they had samples for everyone to taste,plus prizes, and more. I didnt know that its over 270 McDonalds in the greater Atlanta area…wow! My sponsor from last season was out and about to the Chancelors that own four McDonalds lol.

First up was line dance king Cupid(www.myspace.com/theonlycupid) . You guys remember him from to the dance song “Cupid Shuffle“…to the right, to the right, to the left, to the left, now kick now kick. Yeah he shut it down! I had a great time doing that line dance. He also has a new one out for the summer called, “The Love Slide“. Cupid said you can do this new line dance at family reunions,weddings and more.I think I got it. He also sang one of his new songs,”Dont make your baby mama mad” lmao. We were cracking up,but the lyrics are cute. Cupid’s new album,” Feel good muzik” is coming soon!

Next up was R&B crooner Eric Roberson(www.blueerrosoul.blogspot), I cant say that I know his music but when he hit the stage everyone was singing along. I felt like I was the only one out of touch lol. He had a great voice and I loved his tennis shoe game! He also brought onstage another singer named Algebra. She had great vocals and they sang a duet together.

Last but not least,Philly R&B singer Musiq Soulchild(www.musiqsoulchild.com) came out. Wow he is so talented, everyone was singing along and my daughter got a chance to rock out with him on stage. Musiq had everyone feeling good in th e crowd well over 100 people. He can also hit those high notes too, the women were in awh as he sang,”Love“. He song several songs and high fived and partied with the kids as he sang, “Just friends”.

It really was a great concert and this was just the beginning of the Free summer Concert series with McCafe Urban Soul Lounge.
