Fashion designer Prabal Gurung will be giving Sephora a proper fashion makeover! No more black tees and black bottoms for the Sephora employees! Sephora staff will now be dressed to the nines to greet and help customers in the store. This is fabulous news! Some of the clothing that Gurung has designed are fitted pantsuits with red details, also black shift dresses with red trim.

He was quoted as saying,“the style and playfulness of shopping in a Sephora store, but make sure they would be functional in such a fast-paced environment,” he told WWD. “The dress incorporates one of my favorite design elements, offering a flash of vibrant red, while the women’s pant suit and the separates for men give a sleeker, more tailored look.”

I can’t wait to pop into the Sephora store by my house to check the uniforms out, sounds so fun! I’m in the store at least twice a week, I’m thrilled! Look for the stylish change April 2012! xoxo

Oh Lawd! Betsey Johnson Launches New Fragrance, “Too Too”!

You know I love Betsey Johnson soo much! I just bought a new purse today and headed back to the store to pick up some black shoes I saw! Then I got an alert that my Pinktastic friend just launched her new fragrance today called, Too Too! Oh Lawd, my heart stopped for a minute when I got the news! They didn’t even say anything to me in the store today, shame on them lol.

Betsey held the launch party at 9am at a dance studio called, MILK Studios in NYC. You guys know she was a former dancer, so I’m sure the inspiration came from that! The bottle is A-D-O-R-A-B-L-E and I can not wait to add it to my perfume tray! Yes, does cartwheel now! The fragrance has notes of Mandarin,ginger,strawberry layered over jasmine, bulgarin rose,patchouli, sandalwood and vanilla, sounds fabulous! The fragrance will retail for $42-$82 and sold exclusively at Sephora hitting stores in October. Congrats to Betsey! I will be stalking Sephora in October! xoxo

Hello Kitty Graffiti Collection For Sephora

Sephora launched their new collection, Hello Kitty Graffiti and its super cute! Its available for the rest of the summer and I will definitely have to let my daughter know about it. I always say that she reminds me of Hello Kitty lol. The makeup bag and fragrance look adorable, I will have to stop in Sephora to smell the perfume. The collection has a makeup bag,tiered palette with 4 eye shadows, 2 blush/bronzers, roll on perfume, compact mirror and 5 piece brush set held in a Hello Kitty container.

I got upset when I found out that Sephora in NYC delivers to your front door! Yes, its only available in the Big Apple with it’s same day beauty delivery service. All you have to do is order your beauty goodies over the phone by calling 1-877-Sephora. Place your order between 8-11am and your order will be delivered between 12-9pm.It’s $15 per delivery with a $50 minimum. How fun is that! When they pull up to your door you will see a chic Sephora-branded Mini Cooper! A cute chauffer and escort decked out in a fab uniform comes with the package. People come up with the best ideas, I need to jump on the band wagon! Model Brooklyn Decker looked fab too wearing Alexander Wang mini-dress and Valentino strappy kitten heels to for the ribbon cutting ceremony. How inventive and girly! I hope they decide to launch this in other cities. Would you use the service?

Girls Nite In At Sol Melia Hotel

I wanted to have a girls nite in party since I hadn’t done one in awhile. I try to keep them very intimate so we can appreciate what each other has to say. I called up my friends at Sol Melia a new spanish hotel chain that just opened here and asked them for a suite. They happily obliged and I zoomed downtown to set up.

The suite was very nice but I must say, I’m not use to a open floor plan where the bed is sitting in the middle of the space, but I got use to it. I was greeted with fresh fruit and a kind note to welcome me. I loved that it had a kitchenette with big fridge and microwave, cabinets for easy storage.I brought a fun spirit for the girls which was Chambord flavored vodka, Cotton Candy Camicakes, Emerson Street Girls Nite In sleep shirts, Summer Collection of Essie Nail polish, Designs by Lolita Bunco board game, Sephora(Mall of Ga JCPenney)makeup bags and Girls Nite Out wine glasses from 95 and Sunny. I topped it off with yummy food from Buckhead Pizza(Mall of Ga) & Pizzeria Venti(Buckhead).

When the girls arrived it was like catching up where we left off. We talked about relationships,sex,kids,fashion, friends and more. What we discussed at the hotel stayed at the hotel too but it was soo good to vent and get it all out! I learned a couple of things about myself too that I never knew existed. It was very freeing and I didn’t feel judged.You should do the same and get a way for a lil girl time with friends. I would like to thank my girlfriends for stopping by, I plan on having more this summer. I would also like to thank Sol Melia Atlanta for accommodating me and my guests, it was very nice.
