<p>If you want to go somewhere where there is great food and a sexy atmosphere, you should head to <strong><a href="http://www.10degreessouth.com">10 Degrees South</a></strong>! I was referred there by a friend name Justin Epstein. He knows that I&#8217;m a big foodie and said I would love this place. Its south african food and I&#8217;ve never tasted anything like it.I dragged along my buddy Chavien and he was delighted to hang.</p>

<p>We walked in and I was quickly impressed with the layout and art design. I felt like I walked into someones condominium instead of a restaurant. I was greeted by a pretty hostess and they sat us quickly. A handsome young man appeared, who owns this fab place named, Justin too lol. He chatted with me and said they&#8217;ve been open for 12 years. He&#8217;s from South Africa and wanted to bring his food to Atlanta.</p>
<p><a href="http://talkingwithtami.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/100_2120.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-20118" title="100_2120" src="http://talkingwithtami.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/100_2120-300x225.jpg" alt="100 2120 300x225 10 Degrees South" width="300" height="225" /></a></p>
<p><a href="http://talkingwithtami.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/100_2134.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-20119" title="100_2134" src="http://talkingwithtami.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/100_2134-300x267.jpg" alt="100 2134 300x267 10 Degrees South" width="300" height="267" /></a></p>
<p>He said he was a professional soccer player and played for the Atlanta team for awhile. He&#8217;s married ladies, sorry but he is oh so cute! He told us we would enjoy the food and I quickly asked what was the most popular items on the menu.</p>
<p><a href="http://talkingwithtami.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/100_2131.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-20120" title="100_2131" src="http://talkingwithtami.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/100_2131-300x225.jpg" alt="100 2131 300x225 10 Degrees South" width="300" height="225" /></a></p>
<p><strong>Calamari, Sosatie, Boerewors Sandwiches</strong></p>
<p><strong><a href="http://talkingwithtami.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/100_2130.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-20121" title="100_2130" src="http://talkingwithtami.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/100_2130-300x225.jpg" alt="100 2130 300x225 10 Degrees South" width="300" height="225" /></a></strong></p>
<p><strong><a href="http://talkingwithtami.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/100_2138.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-20122" title="100_2138" src="http://talkingwithtami.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/100_2138-300x225.jpg" alt="100 2138 300x225 10 Degrees South" width="300" height="225" /></a></strong></p>
<p><strong>Chicken Curry</strong></p>
<p><strong><a href="http://talkingwithtami.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/x2_202d05b.jpeg"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-20129" title="x2_202d05b" src="http://talkingwithtami.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/x2_202d05b-300x225.jpg" alt="x2 202d05b 300x225 10 Degrees South" width="300" height="225" /></a></strong></p>
<p><strong>Prawns</strong></p>
<p>He said most of the customers liked their Calamari which is grilled and tossed in lemon butter and caper sauce. The Sosaties was another favorite thats filet and marinated and topped with a sweet apricot curry sauce. The Boerewors Sandwiches are a great hit too. We tried all three and I almost lost my mind, It was delicious. There was nothing I made the ugly face at! Actually I asked for seconds lol.</p>
<p><strong><a href="http://talkingwithtami.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/x2_202d7ab.jpeg"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-20130" title="x2_202d7ab" src="http://talkingwithtami.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/x2_202d7ab-300x225.jpg" alt="x2 202d7ab 300x225 10 Degrees South" width="300" height="225" /></a></strong></p>
<p><strong>Di&#8217;s delight</strong></p>
<p>We then tried the prawns. Let&#8217;s just say I was praying that Chavien was full because I didn&#8217;t want to share anymore! It&#8217;s Socculent butterflied shrimp grilled in the shell served with rice. I&#8217;m a lover of seafood, so I was excited to try this, very, very, good! We also had curry chicken which was very tender and tasty. It was made with traditional South African spices and herbs served  on a bed of yellow and white rice accompanied with sambals.</p>
<p><a href="http://talkingwithtami.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/100_2143.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-20125" title="100_2143" src="http://talkingwithtami.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/100_2143-300x225.jpg" alt="100 2143 300x225 10 Degrees South" width="300" height="225" /></a></p>
<p><strong>Owner Justin and I</strong></p>
<p>Justin asked me to save room for dessert! He said it was a favorite at the restaurant. It&#8217;s called, Di&#8217;s delight, named after his mom. She prepares it especially for the restaurant. It was served with vanilla ice cream and carmel. I wanted to curl up on the back patio and take a small nap after that. Chavien and I was very impressed with everything and plan on going back very soon. If you &#8216;re in the Buckhead area of Atlanta or plan on visiting here, please stop in. It&#8217;s simply Pinktastic!</p>

<p>I was invited out to review the beautiful <strong>Park 75</strong> the other night. This was my second visit to the <strong><a href="http://www.fourseasons.com/atlanta">Four Seasons</a></strong> hotel in a week. Park 75 is a swanky lounge area outside of their restaurant. They have live music, drinks and great bites. I brought my hubby along because he loves jazz music and he was delighted to get out.</p>
<p><a href="http://talkingwithtami.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/DSC08537.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-13773" title="DSC08537" src="http://talkingwithtami.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/DSC08537-300x225.jpg" alt="DSC08537 300x225 Park 75 plus a lil bit more" width="300" height="225" /></a></p>
<p>It was about 7 pm when we arrived and the valet whisked our bat mobile off as we entered the doors of the hotel.Right upstairs you could hear the music playing softly. I loved the atmosphere and saw couples seated having small conversation, I already liked it. The more mature I mature the more I like things like this lol.</p>
<p><a href="http://talkingwithtami.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/DSC08538.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-13774" title="DSC08538" src="http://talkingwithtami.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/DSC08538-300x225.jpg" alt="DSC08538 300x225 Park 75 plus a lil bit more" width="300" height="225" /></a></p>
<p><strong>Eric Essix Trio</strong></p>
<p>The jazz group <strong><a href="http://www.opentable.com">Eric Essix Trio</a></strong> did an amazing job and played very softly allowing my husband and I to be able to talk to each other. My husband loved guessing the tunes they were playing instrumentally. We really weren&#8217;t that hungry, so we ordered appetizers that looked good on the menu. I ordered the sweet corn soup with lobster, poached pear salad and lobster corn dogs. My hubby ordered the caesar salad, crab cakes and sliders. Our food was really, really good and I wanted to order more of the lobster corn dogs, omg!</p>
<p><a href="http://talkingwithtami.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/DSC08543.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-13776" title="DSC08543" src="http://talkingwithtami.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/DSC08543-300x225.jpg" alt="DSC08543 300x225 Park 75 plus a lil bit more" width="300" height="225" /></a></p>
<p><strong>Poached Pear Salad</strong></p>
<p><a href="http://talkingwithtami.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/DSC08546.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-13775" title="DSC08546" src="http://talkingwithtami.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/DSC08546-225x300.jpg" alt="DSC08546 225x300 Park 75 plus a lil bit more" width="225" height="300" /></a></p>
<p><strong>Crab Cakes &amp; Lobster corn dogs</strong></p>
<p>A lil later on, I spotted Ahmad Rashad and Charles Barkley being seated right across from us. I can spot a celebrity in a heart beat and wanted to say hello, plus ask Charles what he thought of the hotel lol. He is very well known for his opinion, so I knew he was going to have something to say lol. I introduced myself and he was a very pleasant guy. He told me he stays at Four Seasons alot and &#8220;that they take really good care of me&#8221;. We chatted some more but thats kinda off the subject but Ahmad and Charles were very nice. Thanks guys for chatting with me!</p>
<p><a href="http://talkingwithtami.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/DSC08542.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-13777" title="DSC08542" src="http://talkingwithtami.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/DSC08542-225x300.jpg" alt="DSC08542 225x300 Park 75 plus a lil bit more" width="225" height="300" /></a></p>
<p><strong>Charles Barkley and I</strong></p>
<p>We are not drinkers, so I cant tell yah how the wine was but they have a great wine list. I saw others ordering it. Sous Chef <strong>Bryan Beneke </strong>came out to see how we were doing and he told us that he was going to come back with something special. He then came back with freshly made donuts and other pastries and chocolate! My hubby and I were in heaven lol, thanks so much Bryan!</p>
<p><a href="http://talkingwithtami.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/DSC08548.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-13778" title="DSC08548" src="http://talkingwithtami.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/DSC08548-300x225.jpg" alt="DSC08548 300x225 Park 75 plus a lil bit more" width="300" height="225" /></a></p>
<p><strong>Sous Chef Bryan Beneke</strong></p>

<p>We also met Kailie Bennett &amp; Jerome Legendre the frenchman. The live jazz is wednesday and thursday nights from 7-10pm. Overall our experience at Park 75 was very nice and romantic. If you&#8217;re in the downtown Atlanta area, please stop in Four Season Hotel for some good food, cocktails, live music and great conversation plus the valet parking is free! Plus you never know who you just might meet!</p>

<p>I remember I tasted Carrabba&#8217;s for the first time. It was at <strong><a href="http://talkingwithtami.com/frankskis-wine-tasting/">Frank Ski&#8217;s wine tasting</a></strong> and I fell in love with it. I have a soft spot for good Italian food. When I tasted the food I asked the owner Brett Cavalli could I come in and try the restaurant, we set it up and today I was able to go try it out with my husband. The <a href="http://www.carrabbas.com">Carrabbas</a> that I went to is located at the perimeter mall area. I loved the atmosphere of the restaurant and it reminded you of a lil cafe that you would eat outside at. It was very cozy and the aroma of the food cooking was such a great smell.</p>
<p><a href="http://talkingwithtami.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/dsc06679.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-12177" title="dsc06679" src="http://talkingwithtami.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/dsc06679-300x225.jpg" alt="dsc06679 300x225 Carrabbass Italian Grill!" width="300" height="225" /></a></p>
<p>Brett the owner manager, cook greeted us and told me that he would make us some speciality and popular dishes! I was too excited to try everything. He said the most popular things on the menu were the Chicken Bryan,Chicken Marsala,Filet Marsala and the Shrimp Sampi. When he brought out the Shrimp Sampi,my hubby and I immediately started arguing over who was going to eat the last shrimp!</p>

<p>From now on I will be doing my own restaurant reviews, because he eats too much lol. Yes the food was very good and every thing they brought out just got better and better omg! We enjoyed everything and the Filet Marsala was so tender and juicy! If your in the Atlanta area please stop into Carrabba&#8217;s and tell them I sent you!</p>

<p>New week new restaurant! I had to make my usual run over to La-Ti-Das(<a href="http://www.latidaonline.com">www.latidaonline.com</a>) for some cute gifts, and said to myself, wow its lunch time! I thought about this wonderful looking restaurant that was located across the street called,Ippolitos. I remember going there last year and said I wanted to go again for lunch. I called my girlfriend Jayda and she was happy to meet me there.</p>
<p><a href="http://talkingwithtami.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/03/n.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-4412" title="n" src="http://talkingwithtami.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/03/n.jpg" alt="n Ippolitos!" width="320" height="240" /></a><a href="http://talkingwithtami.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/03/ipps-005.jpg"></a></p>
<p>Ippolitos is a great italian restaurant located in downtown Suwanee,Ga which I stated in previous post,is in a growing area. I love the interior of the restaurant, the owner must love Frank Sinatra. They have a great private party room too, thats upstairs. When I walked in today I was greeted by Calli and I also met the manager Mike Martinez, he was a cutie too. I quickly read the menu and boy they have alot you can choose from like Ipp&#8217;s Insalatas,Ipps Appetizers,Ipps Paninos,Calzones,Strombolis, pizza, flatbreads and more!</p>
<p><a href="http://talkingwithtami.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/03/t.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-4413" title="t" src="http://talkingwithtami.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/03/t.jpg" alt="t Ippolitos!" width="320" height="240" /></a></p>
<p>I kept it simple and ordered the Chicken Alfredo and my friend Jayda Boo got &#8220;The Pepe&#8221; which is a spicy italian sausage wrapped in dough, brushed with honey, baked and served on a bed of Ipp&#8217;s marinara. Jayda&#8217;s son, noodle ordered chicken fingers and chips.Rebecca was our waitress very friendly young lady. She brought out these garlic rolls, and I almost passed out right in the restaurant. You could smell the garlic butter way in the back by the kitchen. I took one bite and lost my mind! Yikes! They were so good, what a wonderful taste they had! Once our food arrived Jayda tasted her food and said it was a lil sweet for her liking but she loved their garlic bread and desserts! I loved my chicken alfredo and had plenty leftover to bring home to my forever hungry kids lol. I wouldnt share my garlic rolls though, they were fabulous lol. The prices are reasonable you have to check it out! Located at Suwanee Town Center 678-985-4377</p>
