What She Wore: B-Ball Wives L.A. Gloria Govan In BCBG

Today I also got a chance to meet Ms.Gloria Govan at the Trumpet Awards. She is on Vh1′s Basketball Wives L.A. She informed me that she has some great projects coming up this year. Govan was also hosting from the red carpet with a new tv gig called, Backstage Confidential. I thought her dress was designed by Herve Leger but she quickly said, “girl no this is BCBG”. I found the dress online and it’s from BCBG’s Fall 2011 collection. I thought for the red carpet she should have dressed up a bit more since it was black tie but who am I lol.I would have loved to see her in an evening gown,with an updo, oh my! She still looked nice and I liked her shoes,hair and makeup! She paired the fitted dress with strappy heels, pewter beaded necklace rhinestoned sparkly earrings and an encrusted diamond rose cocktail ring. Great job Gloria and it was very nice meeting you! xoxo

Phaedra Parks & Apollo Step Out In Style At Captain Planet Gala

Last Friday night, reality star and attorney Phaedra Parks and her handsome hubby Apollo stepped out in style. They attended the Captain Planet Foundation Annual Benefit Gala at the Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta. Don’t they look fabulous? I love to see couples get all dressed up. When my hubby and I go out to an affair, I like us to coordinate colors too, thats the diva in me and WE all know, Phaedra is a true one! As they posed for photos on the eco-green carpet, I see that Phaedra wore a blueish grey gown and Apollo wore a grey suit with a hint of purple. LOVE Phaedra’s hair,makeup and dress, they look very nice! Styled by Leah Taylor,she told me she dressed her in Nicole Miller from the Fall Collection 2011.The jewelry was Givenchy. Taylor has been styling Phaedra for all her red carpet events for years.One time when I saw her at a party, she told me that 90% of the time, she does her own makeup. If she beat her own face here,she did a darn good job! I was suppose to be at this affair but my schedule was soo busy. Great job you guys! xoxo

The 42nd Annual American Music Awards aired last night and let’s just say it made me fall asleep quickly! All I know is that Nikki Minaj took home album of the year and congrats to her! She beat out Jay Z and Kanye wow! I did not have a favorite on the red carpet as far as women was concerned but Adam Lambert was very sparkly in his three piece suit! Hey atleast he’s consistent and looks well put together hair, makeup and all! Let’s check out who looks Pinktastic, who’s Straddlin the Fence and my favorite Chile Bye! xoxo
