Lawd, say it aint so! My beloved Betsey Johnson just filed for bankruptcy! This is really sad because I was just in the store yesterday looking for an outfit and even I couldn’t afford her clothing. A thin teeshirt is like $80 which is unheard of! I always buy her shoes and I have a few of her designer pieces but to put it frankly, it is EXPENSIVE! I own 40 pairs of her shoes but I hardly ever buy her clothes. I did get that teeshirt though because it was super cute, I treated myself lol.

The brand Betsey Johnson LLC filed for bankruptcy and that means that over 60 of her stores may close and a lot of her pinkerrific employees which is around 350 will have to find jobs elsewhere! The company auction is scheduled for May 8th,2012.She will still show at New York Fashion Week but after that she will mainly focus on her cheaper line and stay on as the creative director. Her lower end line is doing well and I saw it in the store yesterday at Perimeter Mall in Atlanta and it’s really cute. I feel bad for her but she will be ok.

It’s going to be called, “Betsey & Lulu” that will follow the mother and daughter duo around their day to day lives in Manhattan and focus on how single mother Lulu wants to launch her own fashion label. Did Lulu take ANY notes from her mom’s business? Lawd we will see but I will definitely be tuned in! It will air on the Style Network later this year, how appropriate! I can’t wait! xoxo

My patience and spirit ain’t right and I need Bravo to hurry it up and get my reality show fix going here! I think I have been patient enough and I’m going to need them to get The Real Housewives of Atlanta on and poppin! I can’t even find the air date of the first part of the reunion show! Sweet Jesus, somebody help me! It looks like it will be so good and I have marked my book out for ALL Sundays for the rest of this month, till I watch my fav show! In one of the video clips Nene goes in on Kandi about her sex toy line, I was hollering! I do feel you NeNe!

Did you also see they leaked the income of how much these chicas make in a season? Lawd, now I see how these women are walking around town in a new pair of Loubis and designer handbags all the time, they were cleaning up! What a fabulous time I had at the Ford Escape Routes Social meet up yesterday in Atlanta! The event was held at Twelve Hotel in Atlantic Station. It was a chance for fans of the new reality show Escape Routes to tweet up and hear a candid discussion about the series and how Ford was involved with the show. Did you guys know they were the first to do something of this nature? They know that social media is huge and they are always looking for unique ways to communicate with consumers!

This was the casts third stop. They already zipped through Los Angeles,New York and now Atlanta! Their next stops are to Miami,San Francisco and Las Vegas! From what I hear,they’ve been through several challenges while here in the ATL! I was blessed to have the opportunity to host & moderate the social meet up and conduct the Q&A. It was a blast meeting all 12 cast members! On the panel were also youtube sensation IJustine who’s the shows Internet Personality and Digital Correspondent for Ford Escape Routes and host of the show Rossi Morreale was in town as well. We had a great time and I would like to thank Ford for the great opportunity and to all the cast members and the social media/bloggers that came out! Good luck to the cast! Before I go in, let me say this. This is all alleged so don’t be emailing me asking me crazy chit, I’m just giving you the tea with a lil bit of lemon. Let me start way back about a week ago. I get this outlandish phone call from a Los Angeles producer asking me would I host a birthday party for some random recording artist. I google the chic and she was drop dead gorgeous, ok whatever. He then went on to say that they were filming for the reality show Love & Hip Hop Atlanta. He wanted me to host a scene and I kept quiet till I heard him out.

He then went on about how much it cost and blaze, blaze. Yawn! I NEVER once heard no money amount come out of his mouth,so I shut down(rolls eyes). See I’m old and you can’t run that fast talking chit on me! I’m too experienced in the game and been at this 8 years. I don’t give a damn if it was Kanye West & Jay Z both performing nude simultaneously on stage and they wanted me to host that, where is my cheese?? Really? I don’t know what email is circulating around in Los Angeles about me with these pseudo producers but I do NOT work for free, you got the wrong chic! Anywhoo, so ofcourse he came with, they didn’t have a large budget etc. I thanked him for contacting me, I said no and I politely went back to watching tv with my feet up, eating my white cheddar popcorn and sipping on a cold pepsi!

Here’s the tea! That brings me to Tuesday night on the red carpet at Think Like A Man movie premiere.It was this beautiful girl standing along side of me discussing how there was these so called producers of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta going around asking pretty girls would they like to be cast on the show. The requirements were that you had to be willing to fight a bit and get drinks tossed in your face! What in the hell is going on? I wish a ninja would ask me to ruin my makeup for one, then secondly humiliate me on national tv! What is this world coming to? I see that throwing cocktails and yanking yaki weave hair out is trendy for most of these ratchet reality shows but there is no way in hell I would go for that for 15 minutes of fame! Ofcourse I asked the girl on the carpet was she going to do it and she said she declined! Thank goodness some folks still have their integrity! I want to see this new season of Love & Hip Hop/Atlanta and all it’s foolery and watch these dummies signing up to look the fool on tv! Chile all money ain’t good money, you damn fools! Everybody loves a lil bad girl once in awhile lol. Evelyn Lozada from Basketball Wives covers Kontrol Magazine “decades issue” wearing a fabulous Dolce & Gabbana pink sparkly dress right in time for spring! You guys know I’m loving that sequins dress right? Publisher Juilan Lark who is also the stylist for the magazine said Evelyn was a delight to work with and was too funny! I can believe that and you already know you can’t BELIEVE everything you see on reality tv! They do play characters hence Nene Leakes. Both are working their 15 minutes to the fullest!
