What is the biggest misconception about La La Vazquez Anthony?
[Laughs]. Sometimes, one thing that I hear that is a misconception is, “what does she do?” And, “what is her job?” It’s the craziest thing, as anyone knows, being a mom is a full-time job. [I’m also] a wife, and I did a reality show, and I just did a movie. I’ve done television series, I produced the Mike Tyson documentary a few years ago, I’m producing reality shows, I have a makeup line and I’m working on my new collection. I am pretty much working all day and I’m walking into an ABC show now to see Kim [Kardashian] and it’s six o’clock in the morning!

How do you keep the relationship hot after all this time?
For us, we don’t smother each other and we have great communication. We both struggle sometimes together, sometimes not,  so when we see each other, even after eight years, it really feels fresh for us and it’s really new. That’s a cool way for us to work. We always have our date nights, and make sure we have time to make each other feel special.

How did you manage that pressure to marry — especially in the face of naysayers who doubted it would happen?
I didn’t open myself up to a lot of people’s opinion about that if they were not my closest friends or my family. They totally understood our relationship so no one really asked. I really didn’t care about anyone else’s opinion or advice about my relationship. … It wasn’t until after I had my son, that we both decided that we would take this step. It was the right thing to do for our family and for our son.

Congrats are in order for Kandi Burruss who’s a former member of the girl group Xscape and now reality star on the hit tv show, The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Bravo just announced that she was given the ok to have her very own tv show called, The Kandi Factory where she will give two inspiring people the opportunity to come down to the dirty, dirty and learn the ins and outs of the music industry. She will then try to turn them into musical superstars. Wow, this sounds interesting but I’m not sure that I will be tuned in because I can’t stand those music reality shows, gives me a headache. Can you believe I have NEVER watched American Idol, I know! God Bless Her and I wish her much success in her new venture! Will you be tuning in?

Model Cynthia Bailey

Yesterday I told you guys that I was invited to a great dinner party at Uptown Lounge. While I was there I saw a beautiful model type lady. She kinda reminded me of Iman in a way. I walked over and introduced myself to her. She was very polite and said to me, “I’ve been added to the cast of, The Real Housewives of Atlanta“. I was taken back for a second because I knew that there were rumors of a new housewife”. I wonder if she is really going to be one of them? There is so many things out there that they are doing away with this person and that person and adding this person, my head is spinning lol. It was a pleasant surprise meeting Ms.Cynthia at the party though lol. While at the dinner, I just saw her running around in the kitchen making sure that everything was just perfect for singer R.L.’s event.

I also did some research and found out that Cynthia has modeled for Target, Macy’s, Essence and has covered numerous magazines. She is also the co-owner of Uptown Lounge with her fiance Robert. I asked her what she was wearing and she told me her dress was by Yigal Azrouel and shoes by Guiseppe Zanoitti. I told her I was a shoe girl and she said, “well get a picture and “don’t forget to get the heel,it’s quite different”. I like her already! She has a great sense of style and I loved her necklace. She introduced me to her sister too, who was just as pretty and had a fab purse from Germany!

Well if she is the newest Atlanta Housewife, I want to congratulate her and wish her well.(I’m saying a prayer that they don’t chew her up and spit her out, she seems cool).
