As I type this blog post ,I’m over here still laughing out loud at all the things that happened last night. I woke up in tears and could not stop thinking about all the fun drama that went on lol. Ed & Lisa Hartwell came and picked me up and we zoomed downtown to Ixtlan Restaurant and Lounge for Lisa’s special viewing of Tyler’s Perry’s Meet the Browns. When we got there, it was crowded and alot of their close friends and family came out to support her.

As they played the show on the big screen, we started to cheer when Lisa walked on. She played a fitness instructor. I was so proud of her and she looked so pretty. I liked her second scene in the show because she wore a pink workout outfit, so you know I was loving that! She did a great job and I can really tell that Lisa loves to act. She is a trained actor, so she played the part well. She auditioned liked everyone else for that part and got casted by Alpha Tyler Casting. Jamie Foster from Sister to Sister came out,JaQuitta Williams and Lisa’s agent Margo Gabriel and her wardrobe stylist Tracy Sipp were also there. She wanted to keep the party private and intimate. This show will air this wed at 9pm on TBS.

Part two: The Drama

NOW you know I’m about to Spill the Tea at all the drama that unfolded at the partee! First of all, I got to meet Tracy’s friend Conrad! Conrad was dressed to the nines as he came in and just shut the whole situation down! After alot of people left, was when the real fun began! Now you guys know that I’m not a night person, so I had to get several sodas to keep my energy up. Lisa was in rare form and prancing around the whole night in YSL stilettos,still being a worker bee…I can’t! I thought I was hyper but she has me beat by a long shot lol.

Tracy Sipp does alot of industry work and owns Fresh Faces. So he was the first to show me how to work a red carpet and pose correctly. He called Lisa over and she showed me the stance and how to work it! I was stiff as a board and needed alot of practice but Tracy stepped in and got me right together! So now I got my Haute Pose 101 down pack, watch me work next carpet ha!

Next Conrad and Tracy showed Lisa and I how to properly hold a designer handbag…what? I’ve been a lady all my life and I never knew that I was carrying my purse incorrectly! They said, “No sweetie, when you carry thousand dollar bags, there is a correct way bitch! They said that didn’t they! POW!

So as you see we had so much fun and with all the commentary that went along with it,we laughed so hard! The bickering between Tracy and Conrad was classic. The eye starring and gestures were to die for you guys would have been on the ground! They also kept saying, ” Catch it!” and “Noo Mam!” Dying!

Later we left and went to IHOP because everybody was hungry. At this particular time,I was thinking to myself that I would have been in my 2nd dream by now lol. I was held hostage and had no car to drive home, so what was a diva to do? I had to tag along,poor me! Who keeps a mother of two and wife out so late? I was enjoying every moment though and couldn’t wait to see what was going to happen next!

So we get this waitress that well, just looked like she was a lil slow. Leave it to Conrad to say something to this lady and she went off! Mind you we hadn’t got our food yet! I don’t remember what he said but all I know was that she told him off! She told him this was just her job and that she was bettering herself and the next thing I know, Conrad looks at me and says, “did she just give me a bun?” I’m looking at Conrad like what? He said, “she fixed me and she braided my hair up in a bun!” I was still lost and I finally figured out that he meant that she read him(told him off) lmao!

I laughed so hard and I’m laughing right now because of how his face looked. He said it with so much facial expression, you guys had to be there. Plus his hair is short and he pretended to have long hair as he swept his make believe long tresses backwards behind his ears.Then he made this smirk and it was over for me! I almost used the bathroom on myself. Omg you guys had to be there! It was alot more that went on but I’m trying hard to keep it clean but it was the funniest stuff going on! I want to thank Lisa and Ed for a wonderful time and Jonell Pr for inviting me out. This was definitely a great event with fun friends! Cant wait for the next episode! Thanks also to Paras Griffin for snapping some shots too!

NY Housewife Kelly Bensimon covers Playboy

I went to get my mail from the mailbox when I noticed I had a package from Playboy. I hadn’t received anything from them in awhile but opened the package to see it was their March 2010 issue. I looked and noticed it was Kelly Bensimon on the cover lol. I was kinda shocked because out of all The Real Housewives of NY on the Bravo reality show, I thought Kelly was the most reserved lol. So to see her in the buff(pg. 92) was quite shocking to me lol.

I had the pleasure of meeting Ms.Kelly at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week/Swim in Miami, Florida last summer at Tibi’s fashion show. We sat a few seats down from each other. She was working for an online tv show and interviewing backstage. I asked her was she returning to the housewives show and she said yes. She was nice and I didn’t really say much more to her. In the magazine she reminds me of Cindy Crawford with her hair color and eyes. She’s a pretty lady.

She is quoted in the magazine as saying,“I’m thrilled to be in Playboy to show that a 41 year old mother of two can be sexy!”. She is on 6 pages and was shot by her ex hubby Gilles Bensimon, wow didn’t know that lol.

I’m wondering if any of my homegirls from The Real Housewives of Atlanta would ever pose for Playboy? If you were to pick one of the ladies from the ATL show, who would you think would be the first to pose? I think it would be Kim Zolciak because I think she looks great and has the bod and the blonde hair. Thoughts?

Paintball Fun!

So I was at the gym when Lisa Wu Hartwell was telling me that she wanted to celebrate her oldest son’s Jordan birthday. She said they were going to go play paintball. I looked at her like wow, I always wanted to go do that but hadn’t got around to it. Her son was turning 15 and she asked me to bring my family to play paintball. My hubby and son was so excited to go because that was something manly for them to do.

First off, it was freezing outside,but I didn’t complain plus I wanted to get in some more cardio lol. We packed the car up and headed to Paintball Atlanta. The place was packed when we got there, it was some serious players out there in the cold. I’m so prissy, I was thinking it was inside but nope, out in the cold, yikes! I had my purse and everything and Lisa quickly teased me, girl you and that darn purse! I had it at the gym too, she was laughing so hard, I did eventually put it away.

I met Lisa’s son Jordan and her middle son Justin. Lil EJ who’s 2 now,was there too in his car seat with the nanny staying warm. He is such a cutie pie, oh my goodness, he was the smartest one out of the bunch because he was posted up in the truck,warm and watching disney movies ha! I wanted to hang out with the baby personally lol. Jordan brought along about 11 of his closet friends, that were too cool.

Lisa and Ed were no rookies to this sport. They came well equipped with the whole gear on, looking rather serious. Its so funny to see another side of Lisa than what I’m use to seeing lol. She had her own personal gun, outfit,helmet,shoes. I was standing there like wow, Lisa does that outfit come in Pink? She said Im sure it does Tami lol.

My hubby and Ed bonded quickly,they were talking about guns,shooting things,atv’s and other rugged activity they hit it off quite well. My son was eager to get started as we made our way to the play area. We formed teams and lined up to get the game going. My heart was beating a thousand miles a minute because I didnt know what to expect lol.

As soon as I peaked my head up from behind this big barricade, I got shot square in the middle of my forehead! Thank goodness we had on safety mask but it scared me half to death lol. Guess who was the trigger man too, Ed Hartwell! Ed why did you have to do your girl like that? lol. I was out of the game before I even got started lol. My son was the second to go down.

My hubby was having a ball and stayed in the game a long time and so did Lisa. She is very rugged and has a great aim,wow never knew she could play so well. They also had very high powered paint guns, not like the ones that Paintball Atlanta had,so you know they were serious about the sport lol. After the game we went to Taco Mac to eat and song happy birthday to Jordan. Lisa boys are so well mannered and I gave Jordan an envelope and he told me I didn’t have to, he was so sweet. He likes music and sports, Lisa said thats why she had the cake designed like that. She said the lady who makes her cakes name is Angela,the cake was so good, strawberry shortcake and the other half white mouse,yummy.
