Last week I was invited to a meet and greet with plus size supermodel Emme. It was hosted by Laura Seydel Turner at her Eco-Friendly mansion in Buckhead. Many women gathered together for an afternoon full of inspiration as we sipped on tea, had bites from Urban Cannibals and listened to ladies speak about challenged and diversity. Emme the guest of honor then spoke about her challenges of facing breast cancer, loving herself and more! It was a great afternoon and I would like to thank Amanda Leesburg for the great afternoon of fellowship. Shecky’s Girls Night Out

This week I had the pleasure of going to my very first Shecky’s Girls Night Out. My friend Amy told me about it and I had mentioned to her that I was getting a lot of emails about this girls shopping extravaganza. It was held at The Biltmore hotel and it was mobbed with women of all ages trying to catch a bargain. It was very organized and I loved a lot of the vendors they had there. My friend Wendy from Plush Boutique was in the house with all sorts of goodies and more more fun stores. The goody bags that they handed out to the shoppers were filled with all sorts of products that I can use this year and last because they were that stuff! Enjoy the pics from the event. xoxo

Bakers Shoes

If you’re a frequent reader you may remember a few days ago that I mentioned I will be hosting the red carpet at the Jackson’s Legacy of the Legend concert and Gifting Suite. My lovely friends at Bakers were quick to respond and help me out with shoes for the red carpet. Today I stopped into Bakers located inside of the Mall of Ga on the first level. There were so many choices to choose from that I got overwhelmed. All their shoes are very nicely made and they have many styles for us shoenistas!

Mike the regional manager, was there and he helped me pick out a great black pump called, Vickie. After I described my custom made dress designed by Plush Boutique, Mike said those would be a great choice.
