NY Housewife Kelly Bensimon covers Playboy

I went to get my mail from the mailbox when I noticed I had a package from Playboy. I hadn’t received anything from them in awhile but opened the package to see it was their March 2010 issue. I looked and noticed it was Kelly Bensimon on the cover lol. I was kinda shocked because out of all The Real Housewives of NY on the Bravo reality show, I thought Kelly was the most reserved lol. So to see her in the buff(pg. 92) was quite shocking to me lol.

I had the pleasure of meeting Ms.Kelly at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week/Swim in Miami, Florida last summer at Tibi’s fashion show. We sat a few seats down from each other. She was working for an online tv show and interviewing backstage. I asked her was she returning to the housewives show and she said yes. She was nice and I didn’t really say much more to her. In the magazine she reminds me of Cindy Crawford with her hair color and eyes. She’s a pretty lady.

She is quoted in the magazine as saying,“I’m thrilled to be in Playboy to show that a 41 year old mother of two can be sexy!”. She is on 6 pages and was shot by her ex hubby Gilles Bensimon, wow didn’t know that lol.

I’m wondering if any of my homegirls from The Real Housewives of Atlanta would ever pose for Playboy? If you were to pick one of the ladies from the ATL show, who would you think would be the first to pose? I think it would be Kim Zolciak because I think she looks great and has the bod and the blonde hair. Thoughts?

Bravo’s A-List Awards!

Hey you guys! Im so, so sorry for posting late but when I got home I was exhausted and I dont own a laptop yet but Im praying to get one in the next few weeks! When I was out in Los Angeles and stayed at my godmoms house she still has dial up, so um we know all about that lol… Love her to pieces though.

I was so excited about covering something new, outside of all the things going on in Atlanta, and thought that going to Los Angeles would be a breath of fresh air. Well darn it, it was and I got some exciting good stuff!

The 2nd annual Bravo A-list awards was held at The Orpheum Theatre in downtown Los Angeles on Sunday. When I walked up I noticed the red carpet was outside. It was a sunny warm day and fabulous, so I was happy about that! The first person I ran into was the host of the Housewives reunion shows, Andy Cohen. He was wearing a pink dress shirt and black velvet pants you know your girl was loving that lol.

We sat up our camera crew and got started with interviews. First up was Fabio from Top Chef,he was so charming and gave me a kiss on the cheek on air. I was in heaven and love his accent ha! I talked to soo many reality stars,singers,comedians,actresses,actors,models, my head was spinning lol. I was set up between E! online and People magazine so thats how I was getting all the stars to stop by for sound bites. Paris Hilton told me she loved my pink dress, she was wearing one too! All the houswives from all the counties were there and they looked so pretty omg! Ofcourse my girls from Atlanta came over to say hello! Hey Lisa loved your outfit! If you look at Lisa’s outfit she had on, on the carpet,it was similiar to my new pics Derek Blanks(www.dblanks.com) took… great taste Lisa!

I really thought the show stopper was when Kim Kardashian hit the red carpet. She didnt talk to any press but she look stunning!!!! All she had on was a black velvet dress but she is just drop dead gorgeous! Paris Hilton looked pretty as well as Patty from Millionaires Club. I also thought Jenny McCartney looked fab,she didnt stop to talk either,nor did Kathie Griffin and I really wanted to say hi to her. Rachel Zoe my fav, didnt stop either but I did get a pic of her assistant thats on her show.

On the men side, I really loved seeing Tim Gunn,so nice! Tyson Beckford was hott and wore pink and Casey& Sandhurst from Make me a Supermodel were so cute!

I did notice that on the carpet none of the media dressed up like we do in Atlanta, everyone was laid back and casual, I felt so out of place lol. I did have a great time, and got to see some of the taping of the show. NeNe Leakes won an award for Guiltiest Pleasure while Rapheal performed a song from his new album. Kathie Griffin looked very pretty and changed several times.
