Ok, I found out the models name. Its editor Julia Sarr-Jamois who owns Wonderland Magazine who’s rocking this fro! The photographer is Tommy Ton who shoots for Style.com. I’m going to start wearing my hair in more natural styles. I’m still on the hunt for the perfect hair products to help me in the process. If you know of any good ones please let me know! I want to wear it wet n wavy since I have some what of a curl to it for the summer time since its hot here in Atlanta. I do nothing but sweat my hair out once I leave the beauty shop lol. Congrats to Angela Bassett for covering this weeks issue of Rolling Out Magazine. She still looks great for her age but I must say in these pictures I don’t see the razzle dazzle. I would have liked to see her in more beautiful gowns than this basic dress. Who am I though sigh! In her interview with Rolling Out she talks about Motherhood, her hottie husband (who I got a chance to meet and interview) and more!  Enjoy!

What else attracts you to your husband?
Well, I think his heart is in the right place when it comes to me. And I honestly believe that he sees me and is interested in me, and not just what I do. Because I’m not always acting. Sometimes I have to let my guard down and be vulnerable. He sees that and still accepts me.

I just shot a pilot for a show called “Identity” and the premise is that inside of each of us, there is more than one of us. So you might look at me and see this face and it looks like I’m happy, but moments before I arrived here, I could have been at home crying my eyes out. All of that is to say that I have different moments where I could be experiencing indecision, doubt or whatever, but through it all he still accepts and loves me.

Let’s talk about motherhood. We’ve talked about the bond between husband and wife, but describe the bond between you and your children.
I feel like a lioness. I was up with them this morning, and they asked me to sit in between them. So I sat in the middle and they buried their heads into me, and we just had such a special moment. I’m the one they do that with … now, they could do it with their dad, but he’s more of the disciplinarian. So I just enjoy those moments. I really try my best to encourage them to love each other and be there for each other. And I just pray that they take the lessons that we try to instill in them, and just try to be better people. I always tell them to leave places better than how they found them. That’s what I try to do in my own life, and that’s the one thing that I hope they always strive to do … I want them to leave this world better than they found it.

I want to thank you guys for coming by and helping me pick a dress for my photo shoot with Self magazine tomorrow! I love you guys for always supporting me and helping when things get confusing for me lol. I tried all the great dresses on and I had to go with choice number 1!

You know your girl would have picked number 3 but my hips were just too big for that dress and pink suga ain’t going on a diet no time soon lol. The Lilac dress fits just right and dress number 2 was waaay too big. I’m more of a 10 at the top (minus the boobies) and 12/14 at the bottom. The wrap style dress from Esprit accentuates my waist line(the little bit I have left). I will be wearing a shaper as well to smooth everything out.

Oh and Guess what! My friends over at Tara Jewelry was so kind to loan me $15,000 worth of diamonds for the shoot! Lisa the co-owner picked out some purple precious stones with diamonds in platinum! I almost passed out when she okay’d everything, that was so sweet of her and Ed! So shout out to them for supporting me! My story is very heartfelt in the magazine written by my dear friend, Melissa Walker who is a best selling author out of NYC. She interviewed me a couple of weeks ago for Self.

I hope my family back home doesn’t get mad at me about my story but it has really healed me by getting it out. I never really share too much about my childhood but I hope you guys pick it up! It will be on newstands in December.I know, I know sorry lol. Well I’m off to get my beauty sleep, the photographer and makeup/hair people will be here bright and early. Milla,Kenneth Cole and I

I remember meeting Milla Jovovich with shoe designer Kenneth Cole at the Bravo A List Awards in Los Angeles a few years ago. I thought to myself wow, she is tall and gorgeous. I later found it she was the fashion model that I have seen in numerous magazines, ad campaigns and on movie screens.

Milla Jovovich is my next Glitz to Glamour. Milla has went from the runways and spreads of high fashion magazines to star in hit movies. She was recently shot for the cover of  Elle Ukraine for their September issue.

She is also starring in an action film called, Resident Evil:Afterlife 3d. She is not just beautiful but can kick butt too in this new release that came out on the 10th of this month. She is currently working on The Three Musketeers. Congrats to you Milla, you’re still stunning!
