Today I got a chance to dress up in my evening gown and prance the red carpet at the 17th Annual Trumpet Awards! I really love going to this event! Its the most prestigious award ceremony for African Americans. This has been my fifth time covering it and it has  been a joy to see people congratulated for their efforts!

This year the Trumpet Awards was held at the beautiful Cobb Performing Arts Center. In attendance was so many wonderful,stylish people! The fashions are always on point and you never want to be late, so that you can see the latest couture gowns! Lets see, Chris Tucker and his parents looked very nice and Chris even got an award for Entertainment. Congrats Chris you always stop by and chat with me.

Raven Symone’ looked stunning in her black ball gown, she received the Pinnacle Award. Thanks so much for taking a pic with me! My kids love you! Earvin Magic Johnson received the Living Legend Award while Pastor Paula White got the Humanitarian Award. Many more received awards too,Im just highlighting some. Celebs after Celebs graced the red carpet and looked marvelous! The Atlanta Housewives were in attendance as well as Regina Bell,Bobby Jones,Sean Garrett,Tom Joyner,Gary Sturgis,Kim Whitley,Judge Hatchett,Judge Mablean,Clifton Davis,Louis Gossitt Jr,Juanita Bynum,Dick Gregory and a host of others!
