You can’t see my face right now but I’m smiling ear to ear. Yesterday my kids went back to school! My husband and I did our yearly ritual by embarrassing them both at the bus stop by snapping pictures and me doing my cartwheel then heading off to breakfast to celebrate.
My son is now in the 6th grade and my daughter is a freshman in high school! I can not believe my kids are getting so big. I cry every year and my hubby holds me and says, it’s going to be ok. We went back to school shopping and picked up supplies and clothing. We mainly purchased hoodies,hollister tees, jeans and tennis shoes. They were pretty easy to please this time around.
I was sent a few new fragrances to try and two of them I thought suited our tweens well. I gave my daughter the new fragrance by Paris Hilton called, “Passport” which is part of her trio collection. My daughter got a chance to review the Paris Hilton in Paris. She loved the packaging and graphics on the bottle. She sprayed the fragrance and said, “Mom this is my second fragrance from her, I love it!” The perfume is young and flirty with notes of sparkly mandarin,red berries and golden peach,arabian jasmine, honeysuckle and velvet peony.
My son on the other hand, tried out the new fragrance from Mark Ecko simply called, “Ecko”. It’s an inaugural from the fashion designer and my son’s first bottle of cologne. My son instantly felt “cool” for some reason. He said, “yes mom, I’m growing into a man now, thanks for this”. I chuckled as he started to spray the fragrance heavily when I then yelled, “hey thats way too much!” Lawd, kids I tell yah!
The notes include iced ginger,white grapefruit,liquid lightening accord,hyper citrus accord,violet leaves,cool black licorice,wild artemisia. My son thought the bottle design was nice and loved the grown up smell,lol. I can see our kids wearing them everyday.I like both fragrances and glad NYC-RR Pr Co. sent them to us to try. They were right on time for back to school. xoxo
