I’m going to bust celebrity photographer Paras Griffin dead in the mouth when I see him! He snap a picture of me getting my boogy on at S.T.E.P.S 15th Anniversary party! Lawd!! I also got a threatening phone call this afternoon that there is video as well…faints! I attended a fabulous anniversary party last night held at Justin’s restaurant in Buckhead! Jamahl King (Ceo of Steps Event Planning Firm) gives elaborate parties throughout the country for celebrities, corporate companies and more! He held a media dinner to thank all of us who have kept him in business for over 15 years. He got on the mic and announced that it has never been done in the history of Justin’s, to have their entire restaurant shut down to hold an affair but he was able to pull it off!
50 V.I.P. guests were treated to a private candlelight dinner with special musical guests K Michelle, and Disturbing The Peace artist Rudy Currence. Both artists shut it down! It was an amazing affair and I really enjoyed myself. I asked Jamal why did he want to throw a party for media and he said, “without you guys, I wouldn’t be!” King wanted to show his appreciation to the media because he knows our pay is not that large, we are somewhat under the radar and so on and thats why he wanted to show his gratitude, plus he appreciates us coming out to cover his exclusive events. Jamahl also brought his staff up-front to introduce and thank them as well because we all know its a collective effort.
