Saturday I headed over to Nordstrom Mall of Georgia for a lil beauty fun. At the store they highlighted the newest makeup line Trish McEvoy, skincare and fragrance must haves. I got a chance to get a makeover which was right on time because I was hosting an event later on that evening. Shontell the makeup artist for M.A.C. did my face and she was fantastic! She said I did need to drink more water because she could tell by my face that I was dehydrated. I dont like drinking water at all.

At the event I saw women getting consultations for makeup applications, massages and more from the industry experts.I also found out that Nordstrom Mall of Georgia is the only one that carries the new line, Trish McEvoy.I found out that Laura Mercier was Madonna’s personal makeup artist for years when she started her on line. Nordstroms top selling lines are M.A.C. Bobby Brown and Lancome. Nikki the Cosmetic and Fragrance Manager at Nordstrom also shared with me some Beauty Must-Haves Spring 2011 Tips and Trends!

So I got up around 7:00 am and headed down the road to Mall of Ga(It’s  the biggest mall in the state of Ga). One thing I noticed right away was the traffic,gasp there wasn’t any! I was taken back for a moment because usually when I turn the corner on route 20 the day after thanksgiving, the cars are backed up! Not this year, so that was a sign that the economy is still not that great.

I got to the mall and pulled right into a parking spot too,I was so excited! I did see a news helicopter hovering over the mall trying probably to tell viewers how crowded it was. The parking lot was at about 80% full. I never camp out at the mall/stores for deals, if I see something I get it and if I don’t who cares. I wasn’t on the hunt for a newest flat screen or the latest gadget, my kids are older now so no more toys r us stampedes for elmo…sigh lol.

So I go into the mall and just walk around and browse. I see a Nintendo station set up with people doing dances from the video game Wii. It was funny to watch people dance lol. I saw the latest Nintendo Ds xl and it comes in Pink! Later the first store I approached was Victoria’s Secret. It was mobbed and backed up to the entrance. They had all their perfumes on sale, so I wanted to get the Bombshell fragrance since that is my favorite! It was normally $45 on sale for $25. It was also, all about the Victoria’s Secret holiday shopping bag. If you spent $60 you got the tote. I didn’t need another bag, so I opted out for just my perfume.

I also stopped in New York & Co and got some jogging pants. The whole store was 50% off! My black jogging pants were $15 and it was also an extra 10% off before noon. I thought that was a great deal! I usually get their black velvet jogging suit set but I couldn’t find my size and the line was long as heck in there. I stopped in Bed & Body works for their wall deodorizers that were $5 and then to my fav store Nordstrom. I work with them time to time on their events and they told me their Holiday Fragrance Festival will be next weekend Dec.4th from 8-10am. It’s a private party where they will have bites, bottle engraver, fragrance vendors, and more! This is at the (Mall of Ga Nordstrom only).

So I had a great time out people watching, looking at the holiday items and enjoying black friday. I did also make a huge purchase but rather not say at this time. Just in case my hubby doesn’t know what to get me(again), I have stashed it myself so he can’t say it was sold out lol(he hates shopping). Till next time my friends, happy shopping!

1. Do you think mustaches are sexy? It depends on who’s wearing it. I like my hubbies mustache.

2. What’s the last concert you’ve been to? I can’t stand concerts because of all the loud music and you pay your money to get in, then stand up, no thanks  lol,

3  What was your favorite 80′s sitcom? I loved The Cosby’s

4. Were you named after anyone? Yes, I was named after the late singer Tammi Terrell and funny thing is, I married a guy named Terrell, go figure!

5. When you buy new clothes, do you wash before wearing? I never do that a waste of time! I’m not super allergic lol plus it wouldn’t look new lol.

6. If you didn’t blog, what would you do with your spare time? Still doing my interviews and covering events lol.

7. What is your favorite department store? I really don’t have a favorite dept store they remind me of places my granny liked to shop lol. If I had to pick though, it would be Nordstroms.

8. If  you were to get Laser Hair Removal..where would you get it? My underarms so I could stop shaving,geesh!

Mother’s Day is coming up, so what better way to say I love yah mom, than to stop by Nordstrom’s(Mall of Ga). It’s May 1st from 8am till 10am, for their annual Eau de Party!
