Last Friday I was invited out to a red carpet Glamour affair at Nordstrom(Mall of Ga) for a little pampering. Makeup is something that makes me happy, so I was excited to join other ladies for a morning of skincare and makeup consultation. They also highlighted the newest makeup,skincare and fragrance must-haves. I was in heaven as I entered the department store. Many women were getting their face done as I made my way over to the Trish McEvoy station for my mini facial and makeup consultation. I normally don’t wear this line of makeup but I was eager to try something new.
Tara was my makeup artist who showed me colors that would compliment my skin tone.We also discussed my skin type which is very weird. I’m dry and oily all at the same time. Trish McEvoy is known for soft clean faces. The look that Tara gave me was perfect for my event I had later that day.

I ended up purchasing the makeup planner system that I had been eyeing for quite awhile. It’s very handy to put in my purse and touch up my makeup when I’m on the go.When Tara was done, she wrote down on a face chart what makeup she used on me, which was great.I was very pleased with my makeover!
