I should have followed my first mind and stayed home like I wanted to do. Then something told me to go out. There were parties all over town that I wanted to go to but I said I would go to Uptown Lounge because Carl Thomas was performing. Shortly after I made plans and got dressed I get a call from the hubby saying he wasnt going to make it home by midnight.Since my hubby is a over the road trucker, I was bummed out .I called my girl Della and she said, heck we can still hang out. So later I get to the party and its very coupled up. I felt like a sore thumb,or third wheel because Im use to having a date on new years eve as well lol. I stayed for about 45 minutes and was back home by 11pm lol. My son was at the neighbors and said he wanted to come home.
I went over in my pj’s and picked him up lol. So we spent new years eve watching movies. Hubby came in soon after. Now I know how some people feel not to have someone there with them to bring in the new year. Im glad I have my family.
