Today was day one having the Buick Lacrosse. Im a blogger and GM approached me asking me if I would like to review and test drive their cars. I was too excited!
Well today the car was delivered and first thing I noticed was that the color was different from what I previously saw at the park. I like the red, but black would have been very sharp. The guy who dropped the car off to me gave me instructions and it was pretty easy to figure everything out at first lol. I did like how you just pushed a button to start the car. You have to put your foot on the break then push button and the car starts! I like that. It has onstar, and rear back up detection which I love so that I dont bump or scratch anything. The radio is satellite and I really enjoyed that!
I had some friends in my building asking me wow what kind of car is that! So I explained and they all started coming over to check it out. Most of my friends were neighbors in the building. The guys loved the color and shape of the car. One of my friends name is Victor and he gave some great comments. He sat behind the wheel and said,This car has a great sound system,just like Rolls Royce and Mercedes”.
He said it had a sporty look,he liked the size of the car,and loved the pass thru in rear of car.He liked the big wheels,and compact style. He also liked how the car prowled lol,They all agreed it had an old school grill and looked like it was would get you some where fast even if it was just sitting there. On the other hand he was concerned with the dashboard. He said for older buyers it may be confusing for them because of all the buttons. Other than that he said,Buick came a long way.
I had an event today and I had to drive into town. The car drove extremely well on the road and I felt like I was floating on water. It took to turns with ease, and I could see out of all the mirrors with no problem. I like the comfort of the seatbelt too, it didnt cut my neck like most do argh! I got alot of stares on the road maybe because of the color but I could tell people liked how the car look,or was it me lol.
We have had bad weather here in Atlanta and the only thing that I would have to say that I didnt like about the car was where they put the windshield wipers. Its on the right hand side which was unusual to me. It started to rain and I could not figure out to use the wipers to save my life. The rain came down really hard and sudden, so I was blinded for a couple of seconds,that made me nervous. The car wipers has delay set up but I couldnt figure out how to turn them on properly. Other than that I really liked driving the car today, I felt very safe driving it.
