Last nite my girlfriend  Pastor Tyear McCrary and I went to see the Color Purple starring Fantasia. We had a great time and it was my friends first time seeing it.She had saw the movie but never live. I just want to state for the record that I never was a huge Fantasia fan. I also never watched American Idol before lol. For some reason all that singing gets on my nerves lol. Well Fantasia has a new fan now! I had the pleasure of meeting Fantasia last summer at her birthday party and she asked me to come dance with her we cut a rug, lol. She was dating Young Dro at the time(I didnt like them two together,glad they broke up, tee hee).

In the play she did an excellent job and Tyear even said, she was very believable with hert character Ms.Celie! I really enjoyed listening to her sing,that girl has a great voice,even after the surgery, my gosh she shut it down! Im very proud of her and wish her lots of luck.She just brings that extra something to that play because I saw it last year and it did seem like something was missing,yes it was missing Tasia! Good job Fantasia you rocked! The other performers in the play were great too and loved the character who played Ms.Sophia, she reminded me of my grandma NuNu! Please check out the play if you havent seen it,its a must see for sure! Also, congrats to Robin Lucas for winning a pair of tickets to see the show! She told me she really enjoyed it, as well! The play is here till the 27th of September at the beautiful Fox Theatre in Atlanta,Ga.
