Puttin on the Ritz with Devyne Stephens!

If you missed this party you were missing something fantastic! Devyne Stephens held his annual Christmas Gala and boy was it a star studded affair! Not only did Devyne put on a great show but he also donated a check for 300,000 to The Childrens Healthcare of Atlanta! He will be partnering with them for alot of things and I’m proud of him for caring for the kids!

The event was beautiful and shouts out to his pr/event planners for making the Atlanta History Museum look gorg! Everyone was wearing formal wear and looking extravagant as they strutted the red carpet! The theme was Putting On The Ritz! He arrived by police escort in a horse and carriage. In his carriage was Akon and Yung Joc dressed in white. I loved Devyne’s outfit and he told me he was styled by Middle Man.

Celeb sightings I saw were,Lisa Wu Hartwell,Ed Hartwell, singer Monica,Jermaine Dupri, B5,Mark Hayes,Suchita, Slim from 112,Ralph Tresvant from New Edition, and a host of others. Devyne then hit the stage and accepted an award and gave a speech before breaking out in a dance. All these beautiful Dame Aflame Showgirls appeared with white feathers along with pretty ballroom dancers! It was something to see!

The room then trickled with white snow from above, very festive! You can tell he put alot of effort into his night,everything was beautiful.He was the Man of the Year! Well check out the pics I could get below because it was mad crowded.Thanks to his team for inviting me out, I had a great time!

FrankSki’s Wine Tasting!

Tonight I had the pleasure of attending a great benefit! Im going to say this was in my top 10 of the greatest events I covered all year! Frank Ski and his wife Tanya, hosted a great wine tasting at their beautiful mansion. All the socialites,politicians,celebs and more came out to support their great cause. The Frank Ski Kids Foundation, helps inner city youth get a chance to learn and excel in art,science and math, and athletics. Their Foundation has done so much for different communities throughout Atlanta and it really shows how much they care!

Their house was simply gorgeous and their was auction items spread out throughout the home. There was Dr. J signed basketball,artwork,huge bottles of champagne, tickets to sporting events,golf outings and a horse! Ive never been to a live auction where they auctioned off a horse! That was hott and the horse was in attendance!

There was also plenty of celebrity sightings at the mansion too! I saw Sheree Whitfield,Terry Vaughn, Al Sharpton,Dr.J, Big Boi,Jesse Jackson,Melyssa Ford, Doug E. Fresh,Honorable Andrew Young and his lovely wife Carolyn,CeCe Peniston,Ryan Glover, Suchita,Mark Hayes,Kevin Liles,Judge Penny, and soo many more.

Everyone looked very nice and the shoe game the women were wearing was on point omg! The food was catered by Carrabba’s Italian Grill and it was so delicious! I also went around the corner and there was my fav! Cami Cakes was in the house and guess what, I didn’t get not one cupcake! When I got back from taking pics, the cupcakes were demolished! I guess that was a good sign but I was pissed I didn’t one, darn it!

Frank Ski and Tanya also gave Blake Sims a check for 500.00. That will go towards his education while in school. It is rumored that his football ability is just like Michael Vick. I wish him luck! The auction started and that was so fun to watch. One item was up to 5,000 dollars. I must say that Frank Ski Kids will be doing alot of great things for next year with the great turn out and live auction! I cant wait to hear the news of their adventures! I would like to thank Frank Ski and his wife Tanya and 360 media for the invite, I had a Pinktastic time! Pls check out the video and pics below!

GILLETTE FUSION MEN OF STYLE AWARDS

Last night I went to a very cool award show held at the Geisha House at Atlantic Station. Gillette and Rolling Out magazine came together to host an award show for style icons in the entertainment business and local Barbers who make our men look handsome and well groomed. At the award show, Vivica Fox and Fonzworth Bentley hosted the affair.

Honorees who received awards for men of style were; Sean Garrett,Lance Gross,Will Packard,Bangaldesh,Kenny BurnsFrankSki,Big Boi,2 live Stews,Mark Hayes,Ryan Cameron,and Bernard Bronner.

Alot of local Barbers were honored too; Caucius Clay,John Yule,Ceasal Johnson,Carl Booker,Bambino,Sean Whitfield and more.

I also got a chance to talk with the sexy Ms. Vivica Fox. She told me she was in a steamy new video with 5o cent that will debut today called,”Do you think about me”. She is also starring as Keke Palmer’s mom, Mrs. Jackson on their new hit show True Jackson on Nickelodeon. She also stars in a show on HBO called, Curb your enthusiasm. I told her I loved her shoes she said they were by a designer named,Nicholas Kirkwood.They were too hott!

I also bumped into Stephanie Mills! I’ve never met her and she was such a delight to talk to. She said she has a new album coming out next year and it’s a live greatest hits album. She is also launching a new studio. She also introduced me to her fiance, Johnny Taylor! She currently resides in Charlotte, North Carolina. I asked her what brought her to Atlanta, she said her fiance knows founder of Rolling Out magazine Munson Steed.

I loved how the men of style were dressed! Big Boi wore a pink cashmere polo sweater and khaki slacks, he said Tami, I wore this just for Talking with Tami lol. Ryan Cameron wore a custom made suit as well as Frank Ski and Mark Hayes. Sean Garrett looked hot with his leather gloves and silver suit. Lance Gross wore a hot look with a stylish hat that he said he picked up in new york by a place called,Rag n Bone.Lance told me to watch out for his new movie he stars in called, Our Family Wedding. He plays Forrest Whitakers son in a romantic comedy. It hits theatres March 12,2010!
