Hey there guys have you seen Serena Williams new color for OPI called, Simply Smashing/The Glam Slam Collection? Its haute and I’m loving this shade! I almost forgot that Serena is a licensed nail tech now like muah and she also did a service for Oprah. So it was perfect for her to come out with her own Glam Slam Collection.

Simply Smashing, Black Shatter

I tried this Simply Smashing color and love it. I also placed the shatter black polish on top and it gives your nails that edgy look. I can’t wait for more colors, she has a good eye for bright hues. The other Glam Slam collections will available May 2011 (French Open) June 2011 (Wimbledon) and August 2011 ( US Open).Great job Serena give us more!

I came across some of these fancy smancy nail designs over the internet. I got to thinking of my days as a nail salon owner/nail technician. My nail salon was called, Nails by Tammie and I was in business for 10 years. It was so fun to own a salon and do all those fancy nail designs. I won so many nail art competitions back in the early 90′s. Looking at the new age nail designs now,wow they  have came along way.

I wouldn’t necessarily wear this stuff now but its getting popular again with all the different designs lol. My daughter who is a tween, loves all of this stuff, I guess I’m getting old. I’m more into the natural nails now, than all the designs but to each it’s own. I thought I would share some of these fancy nails with you,enjoy! See any that you would wear? lol
